Shame really, nothing against the bloke.
Yet another team who see promotion as a bare minimum, board completely deluded, not realising the game has moved on and it might take more than £500,000 to get out of league 1.

It's shameless really.
I'm no Huddersfield fan, I can promise you that, but I did p*ss myself when they knocked Brum out of the cup.
They didn't disgrace themselves at Chelsea, have no fear of going down, still not completely out of the play-off race (but a long shot) and this is how he's rewarded? You'd think he'd spent 40 million or something.
Twonks.

My wife is a Huddersfield season ticket holder and she is not unhappy to see the back of him!
The guy does not have a clue and is always making excuses.

He probably wasn't exploiting the foreign markets in the way they wanted or maybe even if he had gained promotion they would have sacked him. Some boards are like that you know, I've read about it!

Aye up Chirp, aka the silver surfer. I'm at work. Great fun. That's the trouble with it being a major county - lots of competition. If you came from somewhere insignificant, you'd only have a couple of half-teams to go at, a nickname like "The Creative County", with the only boast being some odd fact about the gadger who wrote off the Titanic. Turn it in, pal.

Chirper - I just about understood what you were going on about there - I had better keep practising the Yorkshire dialect.
Even though my wife is a Yorkshire lass, I was actually born and raised in California, USA. My link to Stoke you ask? Well both my parents are from Newcastle-under-Lyme and my dad who is now 74, grew up on the old Boothen end shouting on Sir Stan in Stoke's heyday.
Whenever we visited on holiday from the States though, he always took me to a Stoke game and it stuck!
