I don't think he would. He's off form and Dicko and Wilco never let us down. If Griff weren't skipper, he'd be dropped.

Griff wants 'resting'.
Recently he's looked like the Griff at Derby mark two.
If he is going to play, it's got to be at left back.

Simple. Make Delap Captain, and drop Griff

I'd mind less if he was a good skipper but frankly he's not on the evidence so far.

I'd like to state again that after his abhorrent treatment of the club at the start of the season, i wouldn't have had him back in the first place.
Wilko is every bit his equal at Right Back IMHO, and Wilko has a genuine affection for the club, whereas Griffin would go to Macclesfield next year of they would pay him a £10 a week extra.
Wilko & Dicko for full backs!!!

I thought he was really poor at Sheffield getting dragged into the middle on numerous occasions, Then there was the dodgy head back to goal. Needs to buck up IMO.

I agree with all of the above, especially the 'he needs resting' comment. Wilko and Dicko show passion and real commitment, qualities sadly lacking in Griffin recently.

Aside from the passion of Wilkinson, Griffin at the moment cannot even position himself correctly, he's been our worst player in every match i've seen him in since his return (not that i make it to every game).

hes not the player he was here last season lacks something that he had before, this season he has been a bit of a reliability some games his passing is not the best either, he needs to be dropped.

Definitely NOT a captain in any shape or form and currently not worth a place as a player. Going through a mare of a period and, sadly, should be left out or rested. Certainly not the player he was for us last season. I wonder if the captain's armband is affecting his performances? Should absolutely lose the captain's role as a starter for ten, to see if this improves his game. On last year's form, he's deffo worth his place but not on current form.

Imo Griff would play as TP clearly rates him as do I . He was pretty shaky against Sheff wednesday but I would still rather have him at right back than Wilkinson . He's better on the ball than wilko and does link well with Lawrence at times .
To slate Griffin for being greedy is also a little unfair . You can't really begrudge him signing for Derby when he did .

Dicko and Wilkinson are our best full back pairing - Imho

You do make me laugh though, Wilko and Dicko real Stokies, loyal never let us down etc, none of this has ever been challanged though! So you really believe that if a better offer came in for these two they would turn it down for their beloved stoke......what bollocks. They would run....... follow their dream of advancing thear careers and their status bank accounts etc and who would blame them!

The pedestrian Griffin is one of Pulis' "love child signings". He plays them regardless of form for months until he very reluctantly realises that he has dropped a clanger.
Eg. It took him over a year to realise that Pericard can't. I couldn't be more polite.

I hope TP is reading this as I really believe that if we carry on with Griff then the auto spots will be out of reach

Dicko an Wilko on either side for me, never let us down but never seem to get an extended run. At this late stage we need the passion and solidarity they give us, against newcastle they were the best players on the pitch
