Third place would do me....winning the play-offs..
It's what happens then in the Premiership that counts>!!

The vue....I agree..The Play-off route is absolutely apalling...but if we won I wouldn't say no.
Personally I think the play-offs should be abolished altogether...end of.!

If, as it invariably will, our season hinges on the final game, I just hope that Leicester are safe from the drop.

I think going through the play-offs would kill most of us, I know I couldn't take the nerves

I don't think we would go up if we only get into the play-offs. The next match against palace is absolutley massive. If we don't win, then the confidence of the players will be dented beyond belief, which I believe would carry on into the play-offs.

We need confidence just incase we do get in the playoffs.

The big problem if we won the playoffs would be that we would have lost three weeks over the other two promoted clubs in terms of negotiating to bring in players. TP has found it hard to hit the ground running at the start of a normal summer break - to have the ball and chain of a three week delay doesn't bear thinking about. Ask Derby what it is like!

I think we'd win the play offs ;D I hope we don't end up in them, I'd have to kill myself, plus it's the weeks of my GCSEs BUT we seem to draw a lot, so draw the away leg and nick a win in the home one, and well we've never lost at Wembley

The play offs need a new system. 3rd placed team go straight into the final. 4 th. placed team play the winners of the 5th & 6th placed team in the semis.

Smirny, yeas 24th is the final date, in which case you need to explain gently to your son that his communion is not as important as Stoke at Wembley - I'm sure he'll understand

Thats one of the best points I have heard today
To finish 17 points clear of sixth place or something silly like that is ludicrous when the sixth place team go up. I know it has happened to us in the past and we all know the rules, but its like getting knocked out of the Champions League and winning the Eufa Cup when every fucker has slogged their way through to the quarters
