I believe we will hit a good patch, find form and have a run of wins. Tony has bought in the players, Coates has backed him. The bottom line is the team is unrecognizable from even a few weeks ago, the players have to get to know each other. style, pace etc, I believe they will 'click' next few games and then go on to achieve auto promotion. Hull have had their run, to win more than 6-7 games on the bounce is phenomenal in this devision, so its going to end. Bristol City, they are going through the same patch as we are, but haven't made the quality signings we have. West brom, are coming up on the rails, but then we expected that, so, lets be positive and look forward to the coming punishment were going to meat out to our next 5 opponents

I think we'll win the last five Fullers back and lets face it we've missed him.. Ameobi and Pearson will have a full weeks training, 3 home games and 2 very winable away games. Palace will be our hardest game I think.. but I still reckon we'll win all 5

I really hope you're all right! ;D
The key is what kind of form Fuller's in when he returns and whether he strikes up an instand understanding with Ameobi. Also we need a sharp upturn in form from Griffin (or at least a switch to left back!) because I can't see Pulis dropping him.

You guys are spot on!
It's definitely still there for the taking. Look at the fixture list for us and our rivals, look at the players coming back, the strength of the team and bench, Bristol having to come to The Brit, 3 out of 5 at home. Also, we are due a few wins.
Psychologically, everyone gets nervous because we haven't won for 3 games. Hull are bombing, and I bet their fans are really exited, but they are still a point behind us! Everyone knew there would be loads of twists and turns, but just keep reminding yourselves that we are 5 games from The Premiership! Second in the league, 1 point behind, 5 games to go!! How many of us would have thought that last August.
I can't wait to see Ricardo back. Let's hope he is refreshed and really firing on all cylinders. He didn't play against Bristol away, and I hope he gives them a bit f a surprise.

I still believe that 10 points from the remaining 5 games will be enough for a top two spot, with wins against Crippled Alice, Leicester and Colchester and a draw against Brizzle City.

We've won five in a row before this season...why not again?!
Agreed- we all need to be down the Brit on Monday. Sitting in the pub watching on the box isn't going to help the lads. No matter the weather, get down the ground!
We can do this- Pearson, Fuller, Ameobi, Lawrence et al, we haev the quality to get ourselves up.
We have laid the foundations for a good run (five unbeaten), let's finish it off in style!

We need a decent crowd, but more importantly a noisy supportive crowd. This must help us and intimidate the opposition. Even if things go badly, keep the faith, and let's roar the lads to the finish line.

Sorry to say, but I think some Stokies are just posting what they want to believe and what in their heart of hearts they know is unlikely to happen.
It's true that we have won 5 on the trot at some stage this season, but it's going to take a titanic effort to win five on the bounce at this stage of the season when the pressure is truly on us.
Our form is pretty poor, the goals have dried up and there is absolutely no guarantee that we're going to wake up from our current slumber.
I reckon it all depends on what Fuller brings the table in the last five games. Let's pray that he returns in great form.

We look lacking in confidence. Obviously we can't be completely cavalier about things but I just wish Pulis would say "Just go for their throats, let's win by 3 or 4 goals". We now have the quality to try and play and I still think the best way to defend a 1-0 lead is to attack the opposition in their half rather than defending the last 30 yards of our own half. If we could just give Palarse a good hiding then that could give us the momentum we need.

12 points, and were up, thats what i think. all the teams around us are failing (exept hull - who are on an incredible run ) One win, and the ball will be rolling again.

I think we will win the next 3 & draw the last two
Col U away will be weird as its their last game @ Layer Road & we never relegate other teams directly so I reckon a 1.1 draw v Leicester.
hope thats enough.

Going down the Brit after work to get my tickets for Palarse, Coventry and Bristol. 2nd Place with five games to go, why all the negativity????I BELIEVE. GOARRRNNNN STOKE. It's as much about fear and worry as negativity and it comes from the fact that we have won only ONE of our last SEVEN games. I don't thnink people are moaning for the sake of it - we could have ahd promotion pretty much sown up now with even two wins in games we SHOULD have won! We all want to believe but we can't blindly assume that team with only one win in seven and five goals scored in eight games is suddenly and magically going to now start winning for fun again, especially as the next four games are all against teams who have something to play for. Even the 5th, against Colchester, will be in their last ever game at Layer Road. Let's hope it does happen, but let's be careful about blindly hoping that it does without a significant improvement from Stoke.

- TP sides tend to gon runs of wins & then runs of not winning.
If we can beat Palace - & with Fuller back,Ameobi looking to prove himself,e.t.c. why the hell wont we beat them? - then we can go to Coventry with our shooting boots on & then take on Bristol @ home.
I'm not a betting man but I really think we will win the next 3.
