October 1976 with my Grandad. Walked there from his house on Turney Street in Birches Head. Played Villa; beat them 1-0. Think Garth Crooks got the goal.
Hooked at the age of 7!

Stoke 2 West Ham 1 in 1974; I think it was just before Christmas. We were losing 2-1 then got a very dodgy penno and Hurst (my hero) got the winner off the crossbar ;D
We were in the seats, can't remember which ones and a fight broke out on the row in front between a WHU fan and one of ours. Violence was everywhere in the 70s!

mine was 1966/67 season away against Leicester. I remember we lost but cant remember score. I know it was Harry Greggs first appearance in goal after a free transfer from Man U. Family were living in Leicestershire at that time. My first time at Victoria Ground was in 1970/71 season an evening game against Newcastle Utd. I seem to remember that we won 3-0. But memory of the game is not so good ... I remember the 5-0 thrashing of Arsenal much better that season. Family had moved back to Stoke in thesummer of 1970. Great for me but not so good for my Dad who supported Lincoln City

8th May 1994 vs Luton Town
Last game of the season at home and drew 2 - 2 with Dave Regis and Wayne Biggins scoring. Dont remember much else about it apart from sitting in the Butler Street stand.

I obviously don't remember the game but my Dad reliably informs me my first game was in 1971 when we beat Everton 3-2 in the FA Cup and I was just short of a year old.

Im sure mine was the 93-94 season, Toddy's debut season and we lost 0-2 to Crystal Palace. I was stood in the Boothen and remember not being able to see much. I also remember people spinning their Stoke scarves.....funny how certain things stick in your head.

Burnley at the Vic 1952 ... we got relegated that year..... Mine was Burnley as well but 11 years later and our first season back in top flight. 4-4 draw after we were 3-0 up at half time. Eddie Clamp got straight red for head butt on Burnley player. I remember he never even waited for the ref to send him off he just walked down the tunnel. Does anybody remember which player he decked. Funny enough my next game was couple of weeks later when we drew with Sheff Wed 4-4 again and were 3-1 up at half time. The player Eddie Clamp decked was England International John Connelly , he got to big for his boots and Eddie brought him down a peg or two.

Mine was in 1956 against Fulham and I was convinced we won 2-1 but when I looked it up on a website we apparently lost 2-1 , selective memory or maybe a mental block ,old age whatever, I can however remember the team which was
Robertson McCue Mountford Cairns Thomson Sellars Coleman Bowyer King Kelly Oscroft.

Mine was against Cardiff City at the Vic in 1987 in the FA Cup. I was 12 at the time and stood in the Butler Street paddock. My next door neighbour who was a Vale fan took me and his son. We won 2-1.

My first game was Sir Stan's last home game, against Fulham. And I also remember the testimonial. Not a bad set of players for one of your first live games

There's actually tv footage of my first game, I was eight at the time.
Just how good was Alan Hudson ... could you imagine Fabregas displaying the same skills, if he had to play on a pitch like that?

Jan 1970 Stoke 2 WBA 0 (we always beat West Brom!) I was 7. My mum knew a chap called Jim Crowe who was director and club doctor so we got to sit in directors box and go down to changing rooms and meet all the players. Never looked back after that. Have a disturbing enduring visual memory of Mick Pejic's jockstrap for some reason

1981 vs Man City in a cup game. We won 2-0 (I think) and the game went to ET and penalties with Chapman missing. I couldnt understand why the game went to ET and penos after we had won, I found out after it turned out to be a 2nd leg cup game.

Mine was Sir Stan's testimonial in April 1965. I was 8 at the time and the memory I still have is stepping out onto the Boothen End terracing and seeing the pitch for the first time - it looked so big and so green. Cant recall much of the match though!

Vs Villa at home 1984 (Holocaust) season Was in the boothen paddock next to the Stoke End. Mark Walters tore our defence to bits, and they ran out 3-1 winners. Bit of mither in the paddock, loved the "big game" atmosphere, esp after attending PV previously against tranmere in midweek a season or 2 before.

Tottenham 1973. I dont remember the game but my dad tells me i was there. 1st game i remember, and i might be slightly off with the score, was against Bristol Rovers or city in 1978 and my very vague memory tells me that the big fences were up and Viv Busby and Loek Ursem scored! 2-1 in the end. I was 9. So i was 4 for my first game. Not bad. I think i qualify as a 'fan'!!
