Nowhere near his best yesterday
Not marking his man when we gifted them a goal
Also hacked the ball away to no-one in the second half when under no pressure
Generally looked tired - lack of sleep?

I blame Pulis.
He's not motivating him sufficiently.

They should'nt need motivating, a chance of the premiership next year should be enough.

Lawrence was not at his best yesterday but just back after his ban, I'm sure he will soon pick the pace up again.
It was Griffin who was letting the side down on that side of the pitch. What was he doing on the left of the centre circle when they scored their goal ?

I've seen lots of our players get abused for yesterday but for me Griffin was the only really poor performance. He gifted them possession time after time he misjudged the bounce of the ball several times and was out of position constantly! Woeful display imo

Not forgetting that header he tried to play back to Nash from about 25 yards out and headed it straight into the chest of their player!! What the hell was he thinkin??? (apart from the sarcastic obvious)

(apart from the sarcastic obvious) Griffin does that in every match he plays...... Funny really, he never passes forwards, always backwards. ;D

Or he will do his Dancing On Ice routine and spin in a circle until he gets dizzy and loses the ball!!!

...that is 'heat' as in the heat of battle... Pressure takes its toll on players in different ways Then again he could have been out on the pop all Friday night! Agree with the comments about Griff - why was he on the wrong side of the pitch for a goal kick? And the players know by now that Nash's kicks are poor - so the captain should be alert?

Lawrence has had the occasional poor game ever since he joined us. They never seem to become runs of poor games and they are far outweighed by the great games he has for us. It wouldn't be a shock to any of us if he has a blinder against Palace, would it?

Very true John...
Just odd that his rest didn't seem to be much benefit. Lets hope the same is not true of Ricardo!

Paul, I'm not sure a suspension gives them much rest unless they are carrying an injury. They still do all the training - and possibly a bit more to make up for the lack of matches.
I'm sure yesterday was just one of his off days - if he is back to form against Palace and if Pearson is as good as he was yesterday we could be in for a treat!

Now that Fuller doesn't have his suspension lurking over his head I really think he will be back to his previous best for the remaining FIVE games.
Lawrence has had his poor/average game. He will be back to his best on Monday, and the glimpses of Pearson were very promising.
I am confident for Palace- come on Stoke!!

I agree with fornside - Liam has the odd nightmare but he doesn't go into Fulleresque slumps/sulks, generally his attitude's great. So with luck we chalk that one up to coming back from suspension and push on. Can't see him as a bottler myself but if there is a hint of that then coming off the top of the table and no longer being favourites for auto kind of solves that, doesn't it? Hopefully...
As for Griff, as I've said elsewhere, a training ground injury might do us all a favour. I'm so disappointed since he came back, and he's not a patch on SJE as captain either.

lacs a dasical football from Liam yesterday pretty much sums it up. Obviously the rest has not done him that much good but as most here say we no the player that he is and expect to see better against palarse. Pearson, liked the lad yesterday and Shola even though he doesnt no how to shoot
