Romelu Lukaku is the only player that would do it in my opinion, yes he would cost lots, but it's money well spent in my opinion. The same Romelu Lukaku thats going to Real Mardid or Chelski for around £20million? Nice one hackett ;D

Nicky Maynard when he gets back could potentially develop into a similar sort of player. As good as Ric is a different matter. There's not many like him around certainly in Britain. I think we'd have to look overseas maybe in South America for that sort of flare.

Kevin Gameiro , check out the goal on 2:20
Seen a few highlights of him and he looks a great prospect, only 23 I think but he's about 5ft 8 or something. Spurs and ac Milan linked last year.

He's irreplaceable insofar as we probably won't see a player like him for a good while, but that's not to say we won't get someone who will score more goals.
I've always said this about Ric. His goals are immense and breathtaking to watch, but it's ultimately about quantity and not quality. Now we have decent wingers and another decent forward, we don't have to rely on him so much as our sole goal threat. We don't need a player who can produce a moment of magic when he feels like it, we do however need regular goalscorers.
Don't get me wrong I love Ric to bits, but in a couple of seasons when he retires I would like to think we're in such a position where we're attractive to strikers (obviously this will be in no small part down to Ric), and hopefully when we sign JP on a permanent and we get a CM with a bit more guile, we might see a different type of striker thrive in our team.
I love Ricky, I really do, but hopefully it won't be the end of the world when he does hang up his boots.

We have replacements for Fuller except they put 90 minutes of work in and not just a flashy 5, Fuller isn't irreplaceable and the club will move on when he goes. Is this a joke that I'm not getting? ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/vEIFeJPtIIq1awrUd6zP.gif)
