I hope that something comes off it. It all depends on how strongly the club feel about it, to as long it drags on!

I have also let ITV know about the situation (bearing in mind we are the featured match tomorrow)
However, it is probably too late for it to be featured on the programme (whether they would bother anyway)
I am incensed by this. SIOCH, it doesn't excuse the fact we missed chances but the fact Songo'o scored the equaliser and Showumni changed the game has a fairly large bearing!!

It's a schoolboy error from someone at Wednesday. The fact we actually haad to leave 2 players out of our first choice 16 to comply with this proves the point - and the advantage they've gained on the rest of the field. If they get a little fine, all bets are off and we should field all 7 of our loanees until the end of the season. defo agree mate, if all they get is a fine we should defo field all 7 loanees for every match now even if its just in protest!!

They should throw the book at them, especially since one of the players in question scored the equalizing goal, that could cost us automatic promotion. completely agree! this should be looked into - wednesday have broken the rules and we should be awarded the points imo

Exactly Mark. They need to make a statement now, otherwise clubs (like Stoke) will just field all their loanees and take a small fine, in return for all the cash gained from promotion!

I honestly think we should have a good case of being awarded the 3pts, they shouldn't be allowed to get away with this, it's out right cheating.

I've just written my 'fans view' for Monday's Sentinel:
With the arrival of Ameobi and Pearson, hopes were high and we took the lead to send all the 3,000 Stokies delirius in the driving rain. However, we conceded a goal to Frank Songo'o- on loan from Portsmouth. Stoke left out Zak & Gally to comply with Football League rules that we are only allowed five loanees in our matchday 16. Sheffield Wednesday had six. This is a clear breach of league rules, and one that must be acted upon by the main chiefs in charge. Whether we are awarded the additional two points remains to be seen, but the Football League must stamp their authority on this one. Otherwise, other clubs with a large number of loanees in their squad will begin to play all of them in the knowledge that they will just get a small fine and a slap on the wrists. It is time to stand up and be counted Football League. A draw isn't good enough, we threw this one away- or were we just cheated? No, thats sour grapes, but seriously, Sheffield Wednesday should not be allowed to get away with this. I'm disgusted!
Obviously it might be outdated by Monday, but the more we get it out there the better!!

1/100000000 chance of us getting an extra couple of points from this. Still, would be good if Sheff Wed were deducted points as a result

SIOCH. At the end of the day mate we have nowt to lose and everything to gain. The FA have to make a stand or as people said we may as well pay £2,000 a week and field a bloody strong side for the push.

It's amusing that 100% of Stoke fans on here were picking their sides for today very much aware of this rule.
And the clowns masquerading as professional football administrators at Hillsborough go and drive a coach and horses through it?
Laughable incompetence.
Why should we suffer through their riciculous law-breaking, which has direcly cost us points?

Out of interest, I don't think anyone has mentioned it (sorry if they have- can't be bothered to trawl back to the start!)- was any of this mentioned on Radio Stoke?
If so, what were their views?

It was mentioned by a caller on P&G towards the end, they couldn't really comment on it in the time they had available. I can't recall what they said.
