in a good long time now, but you have to question the tactics in a game against a relegation team. 2nd half, started with a few flurries, but sitting back and listening to the indecisiveness was just horrible. WHEN WHEN WHEN will they learn that trying to protect a 1 goal lead only ends up in misery !!! Pulis, not a good game AGAIN today !!!

Surely this means they are a poor team and should be beaten by a team going into the game top of the league. Lack of goals cost us last season and lack of goals will cost us again. Our main challengers are scoring for fun like last season. |

A place in the Premiership so they should be 'fighting' just as hard. Bottom of the league teams should be beaten - it's a convenient excuse used by Managers covering their arses and deluded fans who can't see the real picture. |

Usually they do mate - teams are at the bottom becasue they lose more matches, usually to teams above them in the league. Come on Poirot, surely you can work that out. |

I'm not convinced we set out to sit back though. It was a mistake by Griffin (a missed tackle near the centre circle) that cost us for the goal - and it nearly cost us when he did it a 2nd time. We were not sitting back for their goal. As soon as they scored they had the momentum and we had to soak up the pressure and sit back, we still had a chance to win it in the last few minutes of the game. It was poor finishing that cost us today. |

Generally the higher ranking teams do indeed beat the lower ranking teams. When they don't it is called a shock result, or if you happen to be the higher ranking team, shocking. |

Ive said it before and many times over,great credit to Coates/Pulis on the squad we have built up.
But its where our negative driven tactically inept manager plays them or if at all?
His football methods at times scare me and it/could will destroy this golden chance of going up automatic!

Not really,I didn't go today but I know we need to beat the likes of Wednesday along with Blackpool,Burnley etc if we want to go up,just trying be positive thats all mate,but with all our bans out the way and back to full strength I truly believe we can put a winning run together and go up :)Generally  |

Wednesday wnet for it, sometimes you have to give the opposition credit, they are fighting for their lives and they put us under pressure. It was not Pulis who missed a sitter from 6 yards it was not pulis who decided to try and take it round the defender instead of shooting early. We missed chances which invited pressure onto us. Simple as that.

totally agree, the strikers cost us today. But at least the chances were there. Fuller and Ameobi will be a stunning front two in the remaining games.

There was no encouragement from Pulis to get forward, no leadership, character, fight or fire in the belly from anyone in the team - and, for me, that was the worst thing to stomach. |

I blame Nigel Johnson for the crap posted on here . Get a decent commentator on radio Stoke and those who talk as though they were at the game would not have much to say , because his negativity is ammunition to slag Pulis off The best reports come from the the from the lads who have been to the games especially the away games , and for the best part theygive a fair assessment of the game . |

Before I comment, I did not go to the game. I listened on RStoke, so may be a vicitim or Mr Johnsons conspiracy against the truth. So, I've done a search for entries from folk who went to the game.
This was the first one that made specific comments on the game rather than short, "it'll be ok" or "it's wank" comments.
