Amidst all the euphoria regarding our latest signings, I'm not too confident that they will pick up the win we need. Laws seems to know what we're about. The last two games at the Brit have seen us lose both times and be outplayed on both occasions. Lets hope we can do it, though, eh....

Laws has won the tactical battles lately. However, Stoke have slightly changed their approach. The home defeat sounded worse than it was. They scored 2 very quick goals in the final 10 minutes to put them 4-2 up. Stoke could have easily snatched a third before Sheff Wed did. However, with Amoebi in the team, we have that extra bit of quality in the team and I fancy him to snatch one today. This is the team I think PULIS will play:
Simmo
Griff Cort (if fit, if not Zakuani) Riggott Dicko
Larwence Whelan Delap Pugh
Mama (if fit, if not, Cresswell) Ameobi
However, I would pick the following team:
Simmo
Griff Cort (if fit)/Zakuani Riggott Dicko
Lawrence Whelan Delap Bothroyd
Ameobi Mama/Cresswell
Subs: Parkin Pugh Simmo Gally Pearson

He has suffered a bit of loss in the last 1,2 games but he has been played out of position. The fact he has the long throw too makes him get the nod for me. SGS

I do have a few worries about today based on our recent displays. Sheff Wed will be fired up for this one. Not only do we need to get our players playing in their best positions and get our tactics correct. We need some FUCKING FIRE IN OUR BELLIES.
Right, we're just off to get some alcohol in our bellies then off to the match. Come on Stoke - don't let me down.
