So pi$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ed, from having control to ending up with almost nothing. Another bad 2nd half. Bristol City winning in the last minute again, and WBA turning everything around in added time. Now we must start scoring again, if not, the season is over.

No!
At some stage you have to show you have the balls to go out and win promotion.
2 of our main rivals have snatched 2 (or 3) points in the last few minutes, while we have pissed 2 more up against the wall.
We all knew (well except for a few of the blindest rimmers) that if we continued not winning games someone else would take advantage.
While we keep being told that performances don't matter at this stage of the season, that is only true if you pick up the points and 7 points from 7 games is not good enough.
My big fear is that if the manager and the players haven't got the bottle to win from the front, how will they cope if we start our next game 4 points off the top in 3rd?
We will soon be at the stage where we have to win every game and at the moment we don't look capable of doing that.

Thought the result was about right but our local radio station is asking the question 'Could Stoke have been reduced to 9 men in the first half' with bad tackles by Dickinson and Ameobi. We had 2 guilt edge chances with one hitting the bar after about 15 minutes and the McAllister going for a loose ball with Nash after he spilled it and god knows how he didn't score

Totally gutted about the result, we had possession until the last 8 minutes. We have got to start winning again, after all Pulis and Coates have spent enough now get us there. GOOOAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRNNNNNNNNN STOKE!!!!!!!!!!! Well done for bringing home the point boys!!!!

Now it seems they had 6 loan players in the squad. That must mean deduction of points or awarding the win to us doesn't it!

if the rules are how you have said then in theory you could overload your bench with loan players and then only be able to bring them on if you replaced another loan player in your team if you had 5 in the starting 11. which meant that at any time you could accidently break the league rules. i am 100% sure it is 5 in the 16 as stoke had abused the loan system more than any other team in the last 2 years to are benefit. english aint my greatest skill hope you can get what i am saying from this

Emergency loans can be taken out at any time between Friday 8 February and 5pm on March 27, 2008 and can only be used by Football League clubs loaning players in from other clubs in England, including those from the Premier League. International switches are not allowed including Scotland and Ireland.
Players can be signed for a maximum period of 93 days on such loans.
Players on emergency loan can be recalled by their own clubs after 28 days have expired, but not before.
Only five loan players (whether standard or emergency) can be named on the team sheet for any one game and no more than four players can be loaned from one club to another in any one season.
Emergency loan signings can be made up to three hours before a league game.
