With Parkin now behind:
Mama Sidibe Ricardo Fuller Jay Bothroyd Shola Ameobi
in the striking pecking order, can you ever see him breaking into the squad again?
I think he CAN be a good player, but only when he wants too be, his social life seems to be more important than his football, and he argueably played well on his loan spell, earned his contract and is now happy to sit on the bench pick up his weekly wage and celebrate a stoke victory with a crate of lager and a wagon full of wrights pies.
Ive always defended the bloke generally, but if he doesn't up his game in reserve football also, i fail to see how he can be brought into the premiership setup.
IF we go up we need to be clear of dead-wood like:
Lewis Buxton Marlon Broomes Vince Pericard Jon Parkin Dominic Matteo ( maybe )
There is no point in paying players who We are only carrying, ship them out give them a chance to persue there careers and save ourselves un-necessary money.
Anyways......WE ARE GOING UP ;D

Jon Parkin nearly joined Plymouth yesterday on loan. The deal fell-through because Pulis reckons Parkin is a strong personality within the dressing room and club.

I was told that Stoke left for Sheffield just after midday following training. I saw Parkin in Newcastle at about 1pm, so I guess he is not in the squad tomorrow
