Best debut I ever saw by a Stoke players was Hudson's first game of his first spell for us. He didn't score but it was one of the best games by a Stoke player I had ever seen I think

I'm with Mr Frith (metaphorically!): Chambo taking then England regular Kenny Sansom apart at the Vic - sensational.

John Tudor, signed from Newcastle in '75 made his debut v Ipshit scores 2 goals we win 2-0 and the tosser never scored again,he was 1 half of the Malcolm Mcdonald partnership at Newcastle when we signed the useless cunter.

Was thinking Mr. Tudor meself vue, if I remember correctly one of his goals was a cracking full length diving header that simply flew in, and yes he was absolutely shite in every single game that he played for us after his stunning debut

Also remember Tudor's debut, but the rest of this time at Stoke clouds my judgement somewhat of his terrific start!!
Chambo was virtually unplayable in his first few months at Stoke - the 4-1 win at St Andrews, the 5-2 home victory over Wet Sham......what memories ;D

Tudor scored v Derby my first Stoke game -'John Tudor, signed from Newcastle in '75 made his debut vIpshit scores 2 goals we win 2-0 and the tosser never scored again'- he got one more just mentioned it
Have to agree with Dave F- Mark C v Arsenal was unbelievable-turned Kenny Sansom inside out- Graham Rix was outstanding that day as well- Georgie Berry scored that day on his debut also from a corner
Jason Kearton had a blinder in a 1-0 defeat at Bradford -

Your right he was crap after that. His timing at jumping for headers was hopeless me and my mate alway used to take the piss at this.
