Think you are right with this rumour.Reckon he will go Ipswich therefore Fulham will keep hold of Kamara.

If we sign a striker, I have it on pretty decent authority that it will be Rob Hulse.
Shola Ameobi was reportedly our first choice!

If we sign a striker, I have it on pretty decent authority that it will be Rob Hulse. Shola Ameobi was reportedly our first choice! Dave, Hulse has been mentioned a few times today on here and , in the lunchtime sports bulletin, Acres specifically pulled his name from nowhere and claimed he was "a name we have been linked with" along with Kamara It would appear a long shot as they've won 4 on the bounce, are still in with a shout of the play-offs and he has been starting recently and appears one of Blackwell's chosen men - but the fact Radio Stoke specifically mentioned him perhaps means they've heard something too?

Fuller...I am away today with work, so I haven't heard anything on the radio.
I got a text from Geordie Dave earlier about the Kamara rumour and at practically the same time, I received a text about Hulse. It is from a FAIRLY good source, so I guess we will have to wait and see.
Ameobi was our first choice by all accounts, but we have now been knocked back 3 times since Christmas for varying reasons apparently.
Fingers crossed, whoever arrives, it will be someone decent who can make an immediate impact for us.

I would be less than impressed with Hulse, who would he replace?

Hope so.
Just been watching a bit of the BBC Northern Ireland coverage of their game. Magilton's a guest on there - and, reading between the lines, I'd be surprised if Healy wasn't on his way to Ipswich tomorrow, as has been said.
That would appear to end any realistic hope of Kamara, unless Hodgson has completely washed his hands of both of them - so I'd take Fuller-Hulse in preference to Sidibe-Fuller.
But I can't see why Sheff Utd would even consider letting him go with them still having sniff of the play-offs and with him having forced his way into the starting line-up.

Hulse on loan from Sheffield United scores the winner for Stoke on his debut against Sheffield Wednesday.I'd settle for that.

Is Hulse starting though? I don't profess to follow the trials and tribulations of Sheffield Utd particularly closely, but I was under the impression that the chosen front pairing for Mr Blackwell was Beattie and Sharps.
I may be/am probably wrong.
EDIT 1 - Wasn't it Blackwell that sold him, somewhat surprisingly, whilst at Leeds? Perhaps a clash there?
EDIT 2 - Are Shef Utd really that close to a play-off spot. I know they have won 4 on the bounce, but I thought that they were closer to relegation than the play-offs. Being top, I don't look lower than 6th these days. ;D

He's started the last 2 ( subbed after 62 and 78 though) and came on as sub in the 4 before that.
So he seems in the mix - and they are winning games. If they win their game in hand, they're only 3 pts off 6th. But virtually everyone's in the hunt for the play-offs this year, aren't they - even the same group looking over their shoulders at relegation?
But who knows?
Interestingly, they've just had another chat with Magilton about Healy and he didn't sound quite as upbeat about a move for Healy - "they're in a relegation scrap and if I was Mr Hodgson, I wouldn't be letting go of him. But, of course if the situation changed, I'd snap their hands off"
So, in short, about as clear as mud.

EDIT 1 - Wasn't it Blackwell that sold him, somewhat surprisingly, whilst at Leeds? Perhaps a clash there? I think it was more to do with Leeds' perilous finaces and Sheff Utd's Premierships status/money, at the time.

Fuller...we can always rely on you to provide the stats. Well done mate.
Based on those, a move for Hulse would seem unlikely wouldn't it? I guess we will have to wait and see.
Hulse would be a good replacement for Mama, but hopefully a deal can be done for our first choice striking option. Now I really would be excited if we could get Ameobi. I have just seen that the Daily Mail has linked both Norwich and Ipswich with him in today's edition.

Healy to Ipswich? that a strange one. Why would he want to go there for?. A decent little striker but not to prolific for his clubs. I'd rather Kamara or Ameobi over him. Kamara being my first choice, but guess that wouldn't be happening if Healy left

Hulse/Ameobi/A N Other target man suggests Mama's recurring hamstring problem will see him miss a game or 3?
Radio Stoke reported this morning that the deadline is midnight
midnight or 5pm which is it?

Isn't there are Northern Ireland connection between him and Magilton? That, and the fact that Ipswich still have a shout for the playoffs may be compelling enough for him?
