As good as he is he needs to buck his ideas up at the back, he hasnt been as good as he was last season and on form a faye - huth partnership at the back is the best because huth is shit at RB

Totally agree with you mate. Has not been the same player since that tackle. Pulis dropped him when we first came into the Premiership and it worked wonders. Maybe worth trying again. And he could do with out that Captains armband untill he is back to his best. Not quite Captain material yet

I do think the Wenger comments have affected him. Also i don't agree that the Huth-Faye partnership would be best. Faye has looked dodgy a couple of times this season, i'd drop him and stick Huth in the middle with Ryan, it could be that Ryan is worried about what Faye is going to do which is why he's not concerntrating so much on his own game.

Thought Ryan was overshadowed by Faye last night (who I thought had a superb game - his best in a long while). My main concern with him though is his distribution - he regularly finds himself with the ball at his feet and time to look up, but only ever seems to produce the aimless punt up to the striker. I'm not sure if he does this under orders from TP or whether he just isn't confident passing the ball but it was in sharp contrast to Abdy who played the ball short to the midfielders much more often.

The one thing I'd say about our back four is that it does seem to be missing a real "talker."
None of the back four are big on dishing bollockings out (although Tommy does to be fair) and I sometimes think we miss Higgy's organisational skills.

I would much prefer to see Huth alongside Ryan with Wilko at RB. Faye still makes too many mistakes with his "laid back" style

Jamo - you're right, we do miss higgy's talking and organising.
I was amazed last night how many times the ball was played back short to Sorro.
