Why is pulis at the u21's? Fair play if he gets in an england u21 player however if none come in shouldn't we be asking why he isn't of chasing more realistic players?
Come on lets face it he isn't going to go for any of the technical polish players is he? ;D
Although we could get them on a contract for £5.52 an hour ;D
I mus admit though i would go and watch the u21s local rather then sti on the phone all night ;D

How dare you question the master?! When eight hundred years you reach, look as good you will not. Do or do not do. There is no try. (Yoda)
Think TP is looking ahead and checking out the silky skills of all the players we'll either never be able to afford or have on loan for a month.

Perhaps he's considering one of the Polish lads?

PS you should have titled the message "why is Pulis at the Engerland u21s" youth. Looks like an anti TP rant as it stands.

If he is checking out the Poles, he's gone up even more in my estimation. 2 third place finishes in the World Cup - in the good old days though when I were a youth and the eastern europeans were on a regular diet of steroids and speed

And if he hadn't have gone along with Mr Coates what would people on here be saying? Something along the lines of 'why the bloody hell is he sitting at home watching Eastenders when Shawcross is playing for England'!!!!!
With Scholes in the radio stoke studio for 2 hours as well you can take that as the player/s they are hoping for are nearly in the bag and anything remaining on them will be concluded during the day. No need to be somewhere all night talking to players if all that is to be done is/has already been done.

MrMagic. Listening to Scholes and him saying that Coates will push the boat out with a larger budget for the final push, and with saying 1/2 players i feel more confident that they will get their man/men. Also with them elsewhere doing different things tonight instead of not being available makes me think that all is running smooth in the contract talks. Let's hope so anyway!

Sounds promising - didn't hear the Scholes interview, but what you say is cause for optomism.

He's doing what any GOOD club manager does when one of his star players is playing in an international match. Simple as that!
