All i can think of is the promotion race.Obviously i have work and family, and both are important. But at the moment i can not stop looking at tables, fixtures and hoping/praying that we make it.Stoke City are very important to me,they are part of my life.My wife is even hoping we make it(she hates football),but she knows how much it means to me. Please tell me i am not on my own. CITY ARE BACK!!!

Trust me, its not just you!
I'm beginning to really annoy myself with the amount of time I've stared blankly at remaining fixtures and the tables!
To think that this time last year I was really excited at the prospect of finishing sixth. Now I'd be gutted with third! Even my customers (spread over Warrington Runcorn St Helens) are asking about them and looking up the results etc!

I think of almost nothing else.
I've wasted enough time pathetically calculating that Stoke are statistically more likely to win than our rivals at the weekend, to complete a phD in fuckwittery.

Are they the lads who were going to help this week until it got snowed off?
I assume it'll be on before the Palace game (dependent on weather) but not sure if I'll be able to make it on time as night fixtures are a bit of a nightmare for me.
The people that I was outside the shop with this week are always there about forty minutes or so before kick off. Brian and Tony are the men in charge also with them will be Malcolm Clarke and his daughter. So if you know any of them just ask they are usually grateful for a hand.

You're not on your own. I keep looking at fixtures, league tables, watching the championship, big league weekend & central soccer night, reading all the papers, internet boards and posting on here. I'm excited and bricking it.
COME ON STOKE!

Ive listed all the other 23 teams and crossed out any teams that cannot mathematically catch us. 8 down 15 to go.

have you factored in the teams that are playing each other?
if not then its even more 'down'

No, so my table is a bit more negative than the reality.

I had a dream last night and in it we were playing Sheffield Wednesday. We were 1-0 down and with two minutes to go we made it 1-1. With seconds left a cross into the Sheffield area and the ball drops and bobbles invitingly in front of a couple of Stoke players... I shout "GO ON" and promptly wake myself up my girlfriend. Her son in the bedroom across the way wakes up and goes into his sisters room to ask what the shouting is she has also been awaken and comes into our room and says who is shouting ! Oh dear I'm almost 47 been going to Stoke since i was 9. Should i still be getting so worked up after all these years ! ?
