who fell ill during the first half yesterday and was taken to hospital , hope he is ok really nice fella who always stops to have a chat. get well soon

Maybe they were just singing we are stoke, because when all of this happend, the black pool fans were singing "Who are ye" and "2 stands, weve only got two stands"... to which the response "we are stoke" came

I think people were singing we are stoke to block 29 as it was kicking in there at the same time with a bunch of lads giving the stewards greaf.

Hi - Have got a little info .
The guys name is Tony and has been a true Stokie for decades. Unfortunately over the last few years Tony has developed an history of heart problems and had only recently returned to work after several months absence.
He was taken ill during the match and is currently still in hospital where his condition is "comfortable". He is undergoing tests to determine the options available.
You could not meet a nicer guy - one of life's gents.
If I get any further info I'll keep you posted.
