First post on here after viewing for news etc for ages. Would just like to say things as I see it at the moment..... Take stock, breath in and out, and then notice that we are infact top of the league. Granted that recent form hasnt been the best and i think we all would have liked to have kicked on, but we are still there and I for one would have told anyone to do one if they even dared suggest that we be in this position with half a dozen games to go back in September. The thing that has me most worried is playing teams that are in the relegation mix and we have 4 of them. On a positive note they are there for a reason so the points should continue to come. Our 2 best players were out today and when they come back in fresh then im sure that things will improve. Going back to not expecting to be where we are, cast you minds back a few months when we couldnt attract anyone to come and play for us and then think about what all these signings are saying about how they have heard good things etc and how the better players, such as Ricardo and Liam are extending their deals. Its all good for Stoke City FC so why worry, at least we are going in the right direction? I want to see us in the premier league as much as anyone, but if you read some of the posts on here then it might not end up being realistic because the doom merchants would expect champions league football in 2009/2010. Rant over

Good first post mate, this optimistic view you have at the moment will slopwly vanish the more you read the doom and gloom on these pages, a newcomer reading this board tonight would think we were bottom with 6 to play.

how do you go about setting up a pole to see who on here is actually pleased to be a SCFC supporter at the moment (yes/no)?
