I spotted this article about our wonderful England captain in the Daily Mail today, it reads as follows: " Capello believes his players need to remember they represent England on and off the pitch- in the case of Terry, when he takes the family out to lunch. The Chelsea skipper this week parked his Bentley in a disabled parking spot while eating at a pizza restaurant, happy it seems, to take the £60 parking fine. That episode could harm his chances of continuing as England captain."
Just about sums up the arrogant twat he is, and after watching Tottenham score from headers the other night, when Terry could'nt even get off the ground to get in a defensive header, I don't rate him as much of a centre half.
Never mind some poor disabled person not being able to park whilst that two faced idiot I hope chokes on his bloody pizza.

It won't happen, but Chelsea should make him do UNPAID community service for a disability charity.

to be honest i have had a big dislike for all the england players since our failure to qualify for the euros. over paid tossers who really dont give a shit. As for Wright -phillips and Dyer they should go to jail.

Just proves that if these little twats didn't have footy in their lives they would probably be amongst the crop of drugie chav, thieving little twats. That's actually quite true. Many footballers today are people who have come from less fortunate backgrounds, with the most famous one being Wayne Rooney, who grew up on the 'Gangsta' council estate of Croxteth in Liverpool and was apparently living a really poor lifestyle. His talent got him out of it, which is fair play. I have time for Rooney anyway, since you rarely ever hear about him in the media (obviously wrapped in cotton wool by the Old Trafford faithful) but he comes across as a genuine young lad who loves playing footy. John Terry has always come across as a big time charlie. He thinks he is better than he actually is - and I have always rated him as really average in a world-class team. The likes of Rio, Carragher, Brown, Woodgate, King, Campbell, Wheater, Taylor et al are all so much better.

I have to agree also...Can't stand Terry who is massively over-rated in my opinion. I don't like fat Frank much either.
One question though...What did Wright Phillips do. I have heard about Ian Wright's reaction, but I never actually heard what he did.
Anyone care to shed some light?

It's not just footballers who park in disabled spaces - it appears that every car costing over £30k, especially German 4x4's come with a special permit. Check out your local supermarket.
Whatever happened to class war?

Nice one dadosfam, could'nt agree more, it really pisses me off watching these well to do tossers park in the disabled spot and walk off with nothing disabled about them. I actually walked passed one of these nobheads on a motorway services disabled parking spot the other day and asked him how disabled he was. He just got in the car and buggered off, no bottle at all.

I love Paul Jewell's quote at the bottom of the Wright-Phillips story:
“To be a manager, you've got to be a boss, a friend, a money lender, a marriage guidance counselor. The only thing you haven't got to be is a gynaecologist. But then again, you are dealing with cunts every day.”

Love to see a disability rights activist park in John Terry's parking place at Stamford Bridge and see how he likes it.

Yes he should have to do some charity work for the disabled.
It is wrong for anybody to park in these disabled spaces though. Anybody who hasn't got a permit for it should have a big fine.
If they were disabled they would have a different approach to the situation then.
Something that happens far too often, what are people thinking ?

Rather than being an arrogant bastard, John Terry would be an arrogant disabled bastard.

Take 5% of that year's income off anyone who parks in a disabled space.

I parked in a disabled bay close to Barclays Bank in Wombourne yesterday - well technically I didn't as the bay I parked in had been re-surfaced and they hadn't yet re-painted the wheelchair symbol.
However, there wasn't a single free space available on the whole car park - apart from that is, all of the the 15/20 or so disabled bays. I reckoned that if there was suddenly a rush of that many, they'd probably be arriving on a coach anyway..
PC gone mad in my view.

No (I knew someone would put two and two together)
If there were two empty disabled spaces there & he nipped in to buy a paper, I'd think it was not a major problem.
If he used the only available space and went for lunch then yes he was out of order.
All I was saying was that if you can't park anywhere when there's 20 free disabled spaces then the pendulum has swung too far.

I approve of the parking wardens in Hanley, unless it has changed. A few years ago, I parked in a disabled bay, opposite the market, putting a note in my window that, although without a disabled parking sticker, I was temporarily disabled and would be back soon. When I returned to my car, my leg obviously in plaster and using a stick, the warden was standing there with his book. My heart sunk. But he smiled and said 'Just wanted to check, as I'm tired of people who pretend to be disabled but so obviously aren't'. Trrific. Incidentally, I'm mad as hell with JT, as there are two large car parks just by where he wrongly parked. I reckon that that's done his chances of retaining the captaincy no good at all. Will be interesting to see if he tries it again. So jsut watch it, JT, as I now have a mobile which can take photo's. Oh just remembered, I haven't yet learned to use it properly.
