Not sure if it has been mentioned (apologies if it has) but that twat Styles has now mentioned that Eusty took too long to leave the field.
This could result in an additional two match ban (on top of the three he already misses)
Would be good news for us but totally unfair on John

That's a disgrace. Haven't Watford appealed the decision anyway?

Ah well. I'm a big fan of SJE but at the end of the day if it makes Watford less likely to go up then I suppose it's good. Overall I'm pretty nonplussed by it though - Styles making more enemies!

Does seem a bit harsh after seeing what that twat Cole got away with last night, SJE gets a 5 match ban, twat gets a yellow card, dont suppose Septic Bladder wants to get involved with this as it may upset one of his pay masters.

Rob (I'm a Bastard) Styles strikes again 20 Mar 2008 WATFORD'S John Eustace will face an FA disciplinary charge of improper conduct after referee Rob Styles cited him in his report for failing to leave the field of play in a timely manner after his recent dismissal in the Stoke City match. That means that added to his current three match ban for the red card Styles showed him last weekend, the midfielder may be liable to pick up a further two-match suspension, as well as a fine. The charge was brought about following Watford's decision not to contest the original sending off, which angered many Hornets' supporters and, unusually, opposing fans too. Many Stoke players spoke after the whistle of their bemusement at the decision also. Watford have until midday on Thursday to decide whether or not to appeal the latest charge against Eustace

It was a bad tackle, far too high and not aimed at the ball, at Cressy instead. The sending off was correct and Eustace deserves all he gets for doing it, the dirty bastard.

At the time I thought it was a crazy decision but the replays showed it was reckless (no surprise from John) and very high. The possible extra game for not leaving the pitch quickly enough seems excessive though.

What about Ashley Cole turning his back on the ref when receiving his yellow card last night for a challenge worse than Eustace's that should have been red and the FA have said they will take no further action. And they charge Eustace with Improper Conduct! Stinks of double standards to me.

Aidy Boothoyd said he didnt appeal the original red card because he was woried it would be counted as a frivolous attempt and could see his ban extended as Styles still thinks its a red, Aidy will appeal against this ridiculous extention and fine.
STYLES SHOULD BE KICKED OUT OF FOOTBALL.

Apparently there's a little bit of social elitism amongst the referee selectors. Certain referees will get ahead (like Styles) while other, more competent referees will not be allowed through the system. Old boys and the like. Also, look at that referee in the turban - crap referee but used to champion the idea of football reaching out to all ethnic communities.

I wish the Eustace arse licking would stop.
A good player for us before his injury, nothing but mediocre afterwards.
He now plays for a title rival.
The challenge on Cress deserved a 3 match ban. Absolutley reckless.
