I wonder if the official website will keep us updated with the scores from both games? Can't see any updates for the Nantwich game yet.... No scores updates on here either, only for the Notts County match later.... www.flashscores.co.uk/

Encouraging City's youngsters look superb this evening. Louis Moult looks lively up front, whilst Marshall, Lund and new signing Florent Cuvelier look superb in midfield. Promising signs from the youngsters, and I'm sure Dave Kemp will be delighted going into the half time interval.
Moult will grab the headlines for his goals, but new signing Florent Cuvelier looks superb in midfield. He is tenacious, strong and his passing abilities look brilliant. My man of the match so far
Florent cuvelier has been replaced by Academy star Cameron Mitchell. A superb debut for the Belgian youngster.

Mate of mine has gone and said that it could have been more with Moult missing a couple more chances although he took his goals well and looked lively.
Sounded like a nasty injury to one of the Nantwich lads who left in an ambulance. My mate wasn't sure who the culprit was but said it looked a bit if a tasty tackle to say the least.
Good showing by the youngsters though.
(Kitson was gash apparently.)

Darren Brunt was released by us last summer so, unless he has come back, I don't think it's him.

Not long back from the Nantwich match. I little disappointed that there were not as many first team fringe players, but sounds like i caught the better of the two games tonight.
Moult (cracking finishes and jumps well for a short arse), Lund (strong in the challenge) and Marshall all looked lively (although Marshall doesn't like to put a cross in much for someone playing out wide, so he kept cutting inside with some good turns). Cuvelier looked good too, but i think the match center review was a little too complimentary, as i didn't think he stood out as much as they are suggesting. Davies and Sonko looked alright (but they should be against competition from that level). And yes; Kitson was awful. Didn't seem remotely bothered.
Dickinson could have got about 4 yellow cards and Shotton looked steady and tried getting forward a bit.
DLH wouldn't stop shouting all match, but didn't have much to do.
Oh, i nearly forget Soares. Didn't do much wrong, but didn't stand out either.
Finally, the pies were that hot, i thought my mouth was going to melt.

A steady performance from a few of the fringe players i.e Lund,Marshall with Moult looking sharp upfront, the Nantwich player who was carried off has strained ligaments and was in the bar afterwards!.Can someone explain the point of tom soares? sod a transfer fee just get him off the wage bill!!!.
