Believe it or not i went to the same school as Wayne Rooney. I played upfront for the school in Year 11. And he was in year 9 and played on the left side of midfield.
To this day i keep reminding myself i kept Rooney on the flank. Then he quit school and went wth Everton full time. Cunt.

In the mid 90s I taught at a School in Zambia, and the teachers there put together a football team consisting of expats. When the authorities got wind of this team of 'muzungus' we were asked to play in a game that would launch the national agricultural show.
Little did we know we were playing a team made up solely of ex-Zambian nationals. When we turned up there was a crowd of 35,000 locals baying for our blood in what tuned out to be the national stadium.
Not surprisingly we got completely destroyed. I was (of course) the left back, and I will never forget the sound of 35,000 africans howling in derision when I was nutmegged and then left on the ground winded as one of their team went straight through me as if I wasn't there.
