PDSL Div 3 with Trousers. I agree Trousers, that was a much higher standard than the Marstons as in you kicked the ball and not the man. Oatcake Occasionals was memorable as well.

I used to play in the North Staffs Half Holiday league for Newcastle Post Office. Was also in a 5 a side tournament at the Victoria Ground Gym in the 90's. Really enjoyed that. Played ladsandads in the Newcastle league as well in the 80's. Won a few bits of trophies in my time all now shoved in the loft in 'dads bag'. There was always a final at Stoke or Vale in the half holiday league and my dream was to play on one of the pitches. Never came off though. Just play the odd five a side game now.

I played for Crewe School of Excellence when I was a kid...bloody hated it! I then went on to play for South Cheshire for a few years and had some trails for the County. While playing for South Cheshire one of the coaches asked me who I'd like to play for, I told him 'Stoke' and that he'd set something up but apparently Stoke fecked around . When I was 14/15 I wanted to leave South Cheshire as I didn't like that either, too many pricks in the side so one of the dads said Tramere, Bristol and Everton had scouts down to watch me, didn't matter I was a good keeper but didn't have the confidence, plus I wanted to get an education... . So I left and just played Sunday league but as a left back instead for Alsager Town...I loved that!

I was born on the gypo site in Goldenhill but got the fuck out!
I went to Italy where my grandparents are from and was at Inter's acadamey from which i was snapped up by Barca!
For 12 months i kept Fabragas out of the second string so he fooked of to Arsenal as he was jealous of this romany gypo!
I have since then scored 2 top flight goals in my career, one for Italy(winning goal in wc final) and one the other week for Spain, ironically in the same competition.

FIFA world cup. Regularly partnered Pele upfront. We'd often score hat tricks each and lift the trophy.
Then I woke up and remembered I was just an average footballer and that I was, unfortunately, a much better cricketer than I ever would be footballer.

Schools and Junior level football until the age of 16. Retired through injury. Damaged spine and developed Grade 2 Spondy. Never played since. Bit gutted really. My 1 in 5 strike rate as a defensive striker, coupled with the fact I couldn't hit the proverbial cows backside would have meant I was a shoo-in for a Pulis 11. ;D

I used to play for Gardners Arms Brown Lees (we then called ourselves MIC Hart FC) in Ansells League Div 5.
I also used to play for Normacot Crusaders Youth in County Youth League Division 2
I won Sunday Night League Div 2 at Powerleague while playing for Talbot Bradeley a few years ago
My dad had trials for Derby County and Vale during the 70's. My uncle used to play for Vale though he was a big Stokie and was on Stokes books as a youngster.

Played for Staffordshire when at school and then Leek CSOB,went training with Leek Town back in 87 when i was 15 when Baker was manager & Macca was captain. Also remember a player called Dorian Garner who looked liked Craig Johnston ;D It was at this time that booze, ladies & the odd recreational drug came into my life (Shelleys ) Therefore North West Counties with CSOB was the pinnacle i think, played in a few Sentinel Cup finals one @ Vale pk Also played for Britannia Building Society National Team,we played against various banks and such @ Lilleshall,Kenilworth Road,Loftus Road and few others, aaaahhhhhhh the memories ;D Also, played a trial game where myself & 2 friends scored hat-tricks in an 11-3 win against u15 Stoke team (we were 13) and Tony Lacey came in and told us " you're not as good as we have here" ......... we are & were, thats why we won 11-3 ;D ??? Tony Lacey !!
