He got injured apparently and has been back at Stoke for a few days. He spent a grand total of 15 minutes on the pitch while he was there.

Interesting to see if he gets a further extension on his contract if we get promoted. Little Ant Hits the Premiership

It must be such a nightmare being a 'son of' footballer, Nigel Clough and Jamie Redknapp apart (and maybe Schmiechel Jr), how many really come through?

It's even worse if You're at the same club as Your Dad. It just smacks of nepotism especially when the son is an average player at best. If Pulis Jnr was at any other club no one would care but the only person who has signed for longer than 3 months is his Dad!

I think you have to give Pulis a little leeway. It ios after all his lad and has it has been pointed out before, both Mike & Paul Macari enjoyed contracts at Stoke when it was clear that neither were good enough.
He does however need to get on a season-long loan next year and get some fucking games in. I'm afraid i don't believe he was injured, i think he was brought back because he wasn't good enough to get in the team and Pulis Jr needs to be playing, he's what, 23 now and i think he's barely played 20 first team games.

Another contract at Stoke would be a colossal piss-take of the highest order, however you slice it.
He's 24 now and about as close to the first team as Pottermus

Not retired, Shelton - he's currently topscorer in the Spanish second division.

"Not retired, Shelton - he's currently topscorer in the Spanish second division" pretty clever considering he's been playing in Ukraine for 2 years...

George Eastham - scorer of the winner in 1972, was the first son to play for England following in his father's footsteps.
I believe the next one was Nigel Clough after Brian.

At least the Macari boys got enough time on the pitch to score a couple of goals, if memory serves me rightly.

Haha perhaps Ant is that player Tone wants to get in behind the defence?!

The only way Lil Ant will get behind a defence is if he plays in goal, but I have a strong suspicion he'd be wank at that as well!
