Has rejected a loan move to hull????? should we go in for him? Also Aston villa after signing James Beattie, if this happens, does that mean Marlon Harewood falls further down the pecking order????

Did Healey or Hodgson reject the approach from Hull? When Ipswich enquired about him, Hodgson said he was not available, although, since then McBride is fit again and scored on Sunday.

Beattie won't be until next season if it's the Premiership, so no reason to start talking about Harewood again.

Would be an excellent signing, but still got to wonder if Fulham will release him, he was on the bench on Sunday, and Hodgson openly stated that Healy had a part to play in their fight to stay in the premiership, so if he thinks he is in wth a chance of getting a start, would he want to move or fight for his place?

I think other premiership teams would come in for him if he were to move permanently, could only see him coming to us on loan if at all

Fulham's Healy rejects four Championship offers tribalfooball.com - March 17, 2008
Fulham striker David Healy has rejected offers from four Championship clubs to leave Craven Cottage. The Times says Healy, 28, has turned down moves to Ipswich Town, Hull City, Sheffield Wednesday and Southampton.

Well I guess that answers my earlier question of whether he woul want to move or fight for his place, unless of course he has heard a whisper of there being interest from the mighty potters

Bring in the PNE old boys!. Healy would be a good signing. Got an eye for goal. I'd welcome him in. Cant see why Fulham would want him out giving therr current plight though?

He's the one we're after, but he needs some persuading.

Are Fulham willing to let him go now then?
Hodgson seemed to be against it earlier this month. The world and his wife in the C'ship seem to have been trying to loan him.

Healy would be a great loan signing for us but I just can't see Fulham letting him go given the relegation fight they're in .

If it is Healy who's the main target, let's hope he brings his world-class international form with him and not the kind of form we've seen from him in 90% of his club career; or we may as well sign his big eyebrowed namesake, Dennis.

The Sentinel does seem to strongly hint that it is Healy they're after, despite the article not saying he's definitely the one the're chasing. The strap on the front page says ' DO STOKE WANT HEALY?' and the question of the day is ' Would David Healy make a good loan signing for Stoke City?'. The Fulham fans seem to think he only functions at all alongside a big targetman, so whether he could play with Fuller is anyone's guess. You can't really see it. www.fulhamfc.com/Club/Messageboard.aspx?mode=thread&TopicID=35927 Healy thread from January One thing's for sure, if we persuaded him to come here, he definitely wouldn't come here to sit on the bench

I've always thought of him as pretty one-paced, not exactly the player that Pulis was describing in the Sentinel; but all the hints are that it is him that we're after. "When Ric isn't doing it, we need another threat. We need that player who has the pace to get behind defences like he can."The amazing thing with Healy is the volume and outstanding quality of his Northern Ireland goals mean you automatically think he should be playing for Man Utd in the Champions League, but the majority of his club career suggests he's very lucky to still be in the thoughts of Championship clubs. tinyurl.com/2mfssg The Madness of Goal King David
