That will have a big impact on Nigerian players trying to get moves to foreign teams as they will have no world ranking

"Goodluck Johnson" is a great name though! So is Goodluck Jonathan Thing is if Yakubu hadn't missed that open goal they'd have beat South Korea and qualified so seems a bit of an overreaction.

That will have a big impact on Nigerian players trying to get moves to foreign teams as they will have no world ranking Which would mean any Yakubu move is off?

It happened to Ghana not long back but they were suspended from playing any competetive games for 4 years and not 2 years as opposed to Nigeria, i'm not sure if it's a good idea or not. It could work as in the case of Ghana but it could also backfire.
It's very strange none the less.
