I've been trying to find this out today following the publication of the League fixtures, and the only date I've have come up with is Saturday, May 14th, a date when there is a full league programme. Do the FA expect Stoke to play 2 games on the same day? ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/KYqg3pYeaerc5lD_P7BR.gif)

It'll be the weekend after the season finishes, as it always is? ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/ibnJJzaA6ZhfTOIekEAf.gif)

The League season finishes on Sunday the 22nd, but the Champions League Final is being staged at Wembley on Saturday the 28th, so it can't be the week after the League season finishes, as it usually is...

Surely this is the end of the FA Cup if other games are being played the final is on?

It's a pretty fookin' stupid decision Momo if not the end. Would playing it in the week be better? It would certainly command more an audience than it will on a day with a full league programme.

To scedule the showpiece end of season finale at a time when every other supporter of a football team genuinely won't give a fuck that its on, is suicide. This can't be right, can it?

That's it in a nutshell. The final nail in the coffin for the oldest football trophy in the world. Typical disgusting Premier League.

All's they had to do was finish the season on Sunday 15th, and add an extra midweek game in somewhere. There were plenty last year with the season ending earlier because of the World Cup so it's not as if there isn't room. Not rocket science at all.
Final nail in the coffin for the FA Cup this.
