We celebrate 125 years this year, anyone here have any memory of the 2001 match?

That sitter you missed at 0-0. You had a nice ground though for a non-league side.

Why is your ground called The Dripping Pan?

Was there a player called Ross Venables in that side? Great support from your fans.

1. Live near Lewes,so it was always going to be an "interesting " tie for me. 2. Mate at work (Matt Beeston) played for Lewes (last 5mins as a substitute) 3. Both Matt and I were interviewed for local news (me in my office with all my Stoke stuff on the walls) I was asked how I would cope going in to work on Monday if Stoke lost, I replied " No problem - wont be coming in to work on Monday if Stoke lose" 4. Speaking to Matt on the pitch pre-match. Really pleased for him and really envious, and didnt seem quite right, a mate on the same pitch as my team. 5, Really relieved at the result So, nothing thats sticks in the mind for me really ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif)

Was that when about 8 players ran over the ball and forgot to actually take the free-kick! ;D ;D ;D One of the funniest things at a footy match ever.

Shame your going bust ? Hope thats ironic, if not. Shame on you. Lewes enjoyed their moment in the sun. Small place, small club, we were the big boys, dont forget in recent history trips to Lincoln. Saaafffend, Bournemouth, Grimsby (Cleethorpes) Lewes came, they saw...... they got beat.
