It'll be called the Brian Clough Arena (stadiums shouldn't be called arenas, it's horrible) but it really does beg the inevitable question - why?

Agreed. You don't need seats for Commons's half-time snack.

I don't mind being unpopular about this but I don't like seeing Forest where they are.
Fail, Crwho, Birmingham, Brazil etc can fuck off into oblivion but I have a bit of a soft spot for Forest even with the Commons crap. Winning back to back back European cups was astonishing, and Cloghie was a legend.
Remember what it was like for us in the old third division! I wouldn't mind seeing them back in the Champ.

Well said, hoopty. So long as we get to the Prem first. But it's sad to see them where they and I don't feel like crowing as I do with Leeds.

you're on your own , just read some of the comments from their smug bastard fans (with referance to this ground) they seem to think they are still a big club .
no they are a medium sized provinsioal team who got lucky with a proven manager being seen as damaged goods by some, so he came to them, to a) prove everyone wrong, and b) Piss off his former employers , and with a board so desperate to get him they agreed he could control just about every aspect of the club including finances . They will never be that big again, they were never that big before him , they should get used to it .
However if they want to build a 60,000 seater stadium then go ahead, it'll be funny as fuck watching them sink out of existance trying to pay that millstone off

Fucking hilarious. That's a quarter of the entire population of Nottingham who will be need to be there on a Satdee afternoon. With one out of every four homes empty it'll be great news for local burglars.
