A pub in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The barman id'd my mate and he showed him his away card and the barman stopped and muttered something and walked off. We thought we were in trouble until he got his wallet out and showed us his away card too. At closing he put We'll Be With You on too, made my night!

Don't know if it is still there but this is on the ferris wheel at Trentham Gardens, I went there last year only to find a Stoke badge in the middle. And yes, that is the Stoke badge in the middle of the ferris wheel.

Waiting for a train in Sydney I was somewhat surprised to see 'C'mon Stoke' scrawled on the front of the train.
C'mon Stoke indeed.

In a public toilet in Cornwall about ten years ago, someone had written "Bollocks to the Vale scum. SCFC 1863 for life". Made my holiday.

I went to an England under 21 match at Coventry with my lad. Some guy was waving in our direction from the bottom end of the stand and after looking around it was at us. As we're having the conversation "do you know him" between us he comes up to speak to us. My lad had a Stoke badge on his top ;D

In the queue for the tour of the Nou Camp a few years ago
OK, it's a football stadium so maybe not that surprising but it stood out amongst the sea of Brits in Man U / Chelsea / Arsenal shirts
It was a bloke and seemingly 2 sons, all wearing them, they were on an earlier tour so walked past up a staircase. We weren't wearing our shirts but we spontaneously shouted "why, why, why.......?" and the bloke spun round in disbelief, spotted us, and shouted back "aw rate mate ?"
Obviously from somewhere in Trentham............. ;D

Bumped into a stokie on the top of the empire state building in 2005 that was a bit surreal but also went Paris last year and was at Charles de Gaulle airport and going through passport control I had Stoke top on and the bloke behind the desk looked at me and said (in a French accent ) " Ahhhh Stokeee citeeee,, rory delap yes" while doing huge throw in movements with his arms, then bumped into simmo while in Paris had a good chat with them and told him about the passport control bloke he thought it was funny too.

Last Summer I was working back in blackpool in a Superdrug, the air conditioning was broke so we were allowed to wear shorts and t-shirts for about 6 weeks, It was suprising how many times I'd be on the till in a Stoke shirt and spot some red and white stripes in the que, whenever it was another guy in a Stoke shirt something weird would happen, we'd almost communicate telepathically ;D
