A very good creative midfielder. I really doubt WBA can attract much better players than Koren. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif)

SSN have also reported (probably from the express) that we are interested in Koren. How would he cope leaving the samba esque type footy of West Brazil to that of up and at them, neck ache footy at Stoke? ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif)

Koren would be a great additional to Stoke IMO. Gets forward and can actually pass a football. International captain and going to the world cup, so has a bundle of experience. How people can say he can wash the dishes whilst we have people like Diao in our squad I'll never know.
DH.

Our squad is so pathetically limited in attacking options I would suggest we need Koren to provide some competition/ squad strength.

I'd be happy with Koren, I think he'd be a good addition to the squad. Probably best to snap him up before the World Cup if we are going to get him. A few good games and other clubs could become interested.

Exactly, he's on a free and provides much needed competition for Delap, Whelan and Whitehead. He's highly regarded by WBA and I know a lot of people are said to see him leave. However if we could, I'd have Dorrans of them in a heartbeat. DH.

I'd say Koren would be a good squad addition, especially on a ruddy free, he is as good as Whelan for sure and would be good cover if we sign our preferred targets.
Snap him up TP.

We need to be looking at home grown players imho and there are some as good if not better than Koren. Once these restrictions come in re foreign players we need to be signing only the better ones.

I wouldn't mind Koren. If we could sign him and another for the right wing then I think we'd have done well.

Beyond lightweight from what I've seen of him and seems to have about 1 good game in 5. Why have the Baggies released him?

He been a decent addition on a free, we had plenty of shite who can't play football knocking about the squad that we paid good money for. I'm not saying he would start but he would be an option from the bench. Koren is a talented player who would improve the squad, the reason he left was because he fell out with Di Matteo. Worth a look/trial. (That said if he has a trial he definitely WON'T sign! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif) )

Good squad player, more like an upgrade on what we have on our bench already though, and don't think he'd warrant a starting place.
Considering the new Premier League 25 man squad rules, I can't see Tone going for him.

I wouldn't mind Koren. If we could sign him and another for the right wing then I think we'd have done well. This certainly puts a question mark over Liams Stoke future (I would think). If Koren does come in, it must be as an active squad member. With next years restrictions, it probably means 2 outfield players per position and 3 goalies. I would hope that we also have the sights set on a better right-midfielder than Koren. I can't remember seeing him play at all, so am assuming he's not a centre-mid type.

He prefers to play central midfield but is 5ft9" so if we are interested I can't see TP playing him in the middle. As for Lawrence I think he's off and there is no questin marks. So if we got Koren and say Pennant, I think we'd have improved the squad no end.

I don't think there can be any doubt that he represents a vast improvement on what we have in reserve where midfield creativity is concerned.
