10 years since our courageous play off exit to Gillingham. Who was the ref again??
It was meant to be the trigger for an all out assault on winning the league but it didn't quite work out like that.
Haven't we come a long way!!

We were robbed! Remember watching it on big screen down the Brit. My mate was so angry he started and arguement and a fight with a brick wall down the ground and the brick wall won!

I've still got a scar on my leg from kicking a seat after this monstrosity of a referreing performance.
The thing that everyone forgets however is that it all went down to that last minute belter from that little shite Andy Hessenthaler that won it for them overall.
Didn't Paul Connor miss a sitter in the 90th minute aswell If i remember rightly. Hit the post?

I suppose the only significant thing is that we had players missing sitters then ala Mama Sidibe.

Mike fucking Dean was the ref in the first leg- how he got all that time for Hess to score I will never know.
As for Styles, don't get me started...

I swear the FA didn't want a Stoke - Man City playoff final in a year when they were vying to host the world cup.

Bloody hell. Ten years since I almost broke the steering column on my car by pounding on the wheel as I drove back up the M1. Doesn't time fly.
BTW, the O'Connor miss was in ET (I can still remember the bloke next to me's quiet plea of "Come on Stoke, make us all very happy" in the build up) and yes it fucking well is significant.

It is significant, especially now, because it shows how different things are ten years on. We were devastated not to get the chance to play in a game to get the chance to move up to the seciond tier of football. Now we are stabilising in the top tier. Shows how far we've come. And some people are still moaning. ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/cj7bsBj2jOTuEAUVaPt5.gif)

I'd call it significant, never been so pissed off after a game I don't think.
The night I started hating Styles, and I still aint stopped.
