One of common threads in TP's after match interviews has been how he will reveal all at end of season as to why this has been a more difficult season than last Given the dressing room bust ups at Arsenal and now at Chelsea - the strops thrown by players when being subbed etc etc it will make most interesting listening Just hope he gives it with both barrels
Events of last couple of weeks have put real downer around place. Let's just hope we can go out with bang on Saturday

Here are some quotes from today:
Pulis on Stoke's dressing room, "There's been bad vibes from certain individuals who think they're better than what they are. Some realise the club has moved ahead of them, but you get three or four others who put themselves ahead of the club. They're more concerned about their own status than the club's and think we're doing them a favour by paying their wages."
Tony Pulis on precious players; "You get this me me me situation and it can kill the club the dressing room and really break-it up."
Pulis on Tuncay, "His attitude has been absolutely first class. he doesn't socialise or hang around but he's been fine. Not a problem."

I suspect that Pulis truely DOESN'T have a problem with Tuncay. No doubt his little mardy fits and disappearances down the tunnel are an irritation to the manager but I honestly don't think he has major issues with him. Kitson, Beattie and (possibly) Lawrence are a different matter altogether.

I agree, Doz.
I don't think there's massive personal antagonism from Pulis.
But I still think he realises he's not a good fit for us on the pitch and he's not someone he's going to get his money's worth out of.
And I'm sure that Tuncay is desperate to move on too.
So, all things considered, it'd be a big surprise if he was still here come September

FM: Sadly, I suspect you're right mate.
Edit: Another pointer to the above is the fact that we would have no problem finding a buyer for Tuncay for most of our money back. If we intend to make a few key signings this summer, we certainly need to bring some money in from our unwanted players and it's difficult to see us getting too much in for the players we are desperate to offload. Indeed some may well end up costing us money to move them on (Beattie/Kitson). So, even if only on financial grounds, Tuncay moving on might well make sense.

Interesting that he mentions "3 or 4" egos in the dressing room.
I think we can guess the identity of 2. Hard to guess who any others may be.

Beattie and Kitson are obvious, but apparently the other two are NOT Lawrence or Tuncay. Scratching my head as to who they could be to be honest.
Silent man Amdy Faye?

FM, I'll have a £10 wager that Tunny is still here come September.
Strangely Pulis seems to accept Tunny's disappearing acts down the tunnel, maybe because he realises that Tunny brings something different to the party. I dunno.
Either way, I think he'll still be here come the new season.

Davies and Soares, possibly? It's all a guessing game.

Interesting interview that.
I do hope he can keep Tuncay. I think he himself will want to move on though.
It's going to be a difficult summer moving people on and trying to bring new players in. I only hope we do it right and don't fuck it up chasing pipedreams like Carlton Cole and Scott Parker. Else we will struggle.
Fingers crossed!

Both Higgy and Rory are famously placid and well balanced fellas. No chance it's either of them. Pulis DID (alegedly) fall out with Sorro earlier in the season and I'm guessing Collins aint too happy at the moment.

I don't think it can be any clearer, Tunny is NOT one of the trouble makers, so now perhaps a few on here can get off his back. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/vEIFeJPtIIq1awrUd6zP.gif)

The truth is though he won't get rid of one, tell we start to get replacements. 1. Beattie 2. Kitson 3. Lawrence 4. ???????

I think circumstances dictate that he will get rid of Beattie and Kitson as soon as is humanly possible. Of course we need replacements but those two HAVE to go and the only delay will be from their side i.e. money negotiations/keeping their options open etc. If we're looking for better than them as replacements, good players tend to keep their options open and we may not sign them (as usual) until pretty late in the window.
