in my mind we were nt any better or worse than we were against bolton,chelsea were just a gulf apart.aimless hoofs to stranded strikers,a shockingly average midfield that cant keep possession or pass,a winger whos ok against shitty teams and a defender who is liable to give away a pen at any moment....i dont see why we are so outraged.
we are a workman like team who thrive on tempo,will power,a loud following and the occasional spark of brilliance from fuller.without that we are pretty dreadfully ordinary.

Because people say we have a good defence (which is true) - 16 goals conceded all season away from home...now 23 after 1 match; Chelsea nearly scored 50% of the goals more than we had conceded all season! (If that make's sense?)

I think the problem is, we put up with the less than exhillerating football, knowing we can't compete with the top teams. But we comfort ourselves with the notion that at least the players and fans are giving it everything. Then when we can see they don't really care, we are pissed off.

Two seasons in the premeir league and still putting square pegs in round holes,in the championship we might have had no option,but all that money spent and we are still doing it......disgrace.

no amount of effort would have got us anywhere near them.we simply dont have the players.the only man in the team apart from fuller,who can beat a man is ethers, and he looked like i did this morning,tired,slow and shit.
we dont know what to do with the ball when we ve got it and inevitably lose possession or just pass to them,it happens time and time again.

We, as has been said ,put up with dire football,hoofing it, playing 10 behind the ball if we get 100% effort and commitment from the team.Today we got neither effort or commitment so if theres a time to be pissed off , this is it. After all they are only drawing 20 to 40 grand a week.

It was nailed on that Chelski would win this match so I'm not gutted at losing. I'm gutted with the sheer lack of effort and discipline that we displayed. I'm also frustrated that after 2 years in the premier league that, instead of having the right players in the right positions and a squad capable of covering each position,we're still playing players out of position.
