There are a lot of people who like fishing on here. They usually turn up around this time.

I've never understood the point of it myself, but each to their own, whatever floats your float.

It's something I've never done, but then again, I've never been faced with the opportunity.
Definitely give it a go though. One for the "life experiences" list, even if it is quite a boring looking one.

I've been fishing twice in 2 of the most glamorous locations in Wales. The first was Holyhead breakwater and the second was Colwyn Bay. Both times I didn't catch a fish but I was with my mates, we had a bbq, they had some booze and You can fish from the car so we had music too. So both were 2 top days out and when my mate caught a fish we went mental! ;D

Fishing is wank and should not be classed as a sport, but a cure for insomnia.

I go fishing alot, nothing like relaxing on a nice lake with a beer in the sun.
I aint a memeber of a club, but a few of us are getting together to have a bit of a match. If your interested your welcome to come along when we go.
Trent Vale lake behind tesco is a lovely lake, also the pit in Fenton. There is also a place in Dunkirk behind freeport which is a small pool but full of carp.

There was also a rumour going about that the farmer was caught taking fish out of the rookery but thats another story !

i tend to frequent the open cast pools in brindley ford, decent head of carp in both pools, and if the fishing's on the slow side you can always nip across to the farm and have a munch on pig face's fanny for a fiver.
