He is a very good player and will hold a massive place in the heart of the majority of Stokies. Injury free he will be a massive asset to Watford and I for one wish him well of course after Saturday that is.
I also think the timing of his captaincy is a little coincidental don't you think?

he was a top player in his first season then when he got injured he seemed to loose a part of his playing style. he was a good player but i think we've brought in a better replacement with Whelan.

I could not agree with you more spud we have lost a top player whom seemed a little bit tepid to what he was before to a chap whom I believe will grow into an exceptional player for us. Good business all round i reckon.

I have respect for him. He did well for us and but for the injuries might have been a big part of our future. BUT on Satdee lets hope he plays really shit for the first two minutes and gets a red card in the third. The red card is a straight red for a professional foul which gives us a penno we score from.
It'd be good that would.
