Just watching him on Goals on Sunday and what a top top bloke he is.
He cares so much for the club and said a lot of interesting things about moving on style wise, it makes me even more ashamed of the tools who give him so much personal abuse.
Keep it up Tone, you continue to do an amazing job and I for one will be eternally grateful

It made me laugh when Kammy said "people from Stoke must be so happy right now with you and how Stoke are pushing on" (or something to that effect)
If only Kammy read some of the drivel on this message board, he would think he'd entered an alternate universe.

Pulis seems to be an honest and decent chap, unlike some other managers in this league like Arsehole Whinger to name one! ;D

I'm not much for the style of football we play under Pulis. But for the money he's had and the level he's brought our club to, I can't praise the man enough.

He's done a fantastic job here and I hope he will contiue t do so for years to come. I'd rather someon ike him to push us on step by step than for us to blow up fast and fade away faster like teams of years gone by.

The more he talks about the club and the city, the more I'm proud to have him as our manager. No arrogance, no delusions, just passion and honesty. Yes, he has his faults but after yesterday and judging by some of the reactions on here, you'd think he was the reincarnation of Hitler. The more these people slag him off the stupider they look.
And he wears his jumpers properly, not draped over his shoulders.....

Love the bloke too. He's so honest in his opinions loved the way he talked about Wenger and defended Ryan. Also thought it was funny about the way he talked about his stubborness. It's so great to have such a British identity to the club in respect to the management and board. PC really is in it as a fan and for the right reason.

I'm sure most Stokies are glad we have him.
The trouble is that internet forums and the media both thrive on contrary views. Arguments sell newspapers, increase listeners and viewers on radio and TV and cause more "hits" on messageboards and other websites.
Hence the threads on here which start with contrary views, generate huge numbers of posts. It is the same syndrome which means that people like Adrian Durham on Talksport are paid to disagree with their fellow presenters and with callers. It also accounts for that minority of numpties who ring P&G - like the bloke who rang to say that yesterday's defeat "proved" that Pulis had taken us as far as he could and that he was fed up with us bouncing around in mid table. Sociologists of the future will probably call it the "Curbishley Syndrome".

Great article in yesterday's Oatie magazine about the Stoke fans who regularly abused Waddo during our great seasons in the mid 70's before they hounded him out of the club.
I wonder if they are the people who now revere Waddo, but moan about our current management.

He certainly gave a good account of himself today. I liked the way he took the blame for Pompey's first goal aswell. I think it's also very clear though that Fuller rules the roost and Pulis doesn't want to upset him at any opportunity.

Pulis is for my mind one of the top managers in the league. I couldn't care less about our style of football as long as he gets the results in, and that he certainly does.
What the man has achieved in his time with the club - and this despite being "gone" for a year - is nothing short of miraculous.
Who'd have thought when he came to the club, and not long afterwards we got that 6-0 hammering at forest and found ourselves bottom of the Championship (or whatever it was called back then), that this same man would not only lead us to what was then referred to as "the promised land" of the premiership, but also keep us here comfortably for two whole seasons?
And we've got a solid, stable and well run club to boot. And we fill the ground pretty much every home game.
Back in those days, and earlier of course, this sort of thing was the stuff of fantasy and dreams. You could well be certified if you'd suggested back then what we'd go on to achieve.
Some people rather arrogantly forget those days. I don't.

Was he being honest when he defied the evidence of everyone's eyes to praise Sidibe at Wolves? Was he being honorable when he butted one of his own players? Has he come out and made a public statement of regret about it? Is it right for a manager to ask for a referee he doesn't like not to be picked for a particular match (regardless of how poor that ref might be)? If Wenger, Fergurson or Benitez had done just one of any of the above he would have been crucified on here, Hypocrites. Please remember the club is bigger than the manager or any player. It is out club not theirs.

Shocking miss, but he wasn't any worse than our other strikers. We don't actually know what happened with the Beattie affair either do we, so it's hard to judge with any kind of authority isn't it?

I'd say bonehead is an accurate description of people on the opposite side of the debate.
I admire TP's tenacity but can't see how anyone could like his footballing philosophy.
Unsure what you are disputing in my post - would you have been ok about it if Wenger etc had been guilty of some of the things posted here? I know I would have been crying foul!
