Got your maths wrong hursty - Brizzle can get 94 mate. We can get 90 and so can Watford. You got Bristol right tho!

how can Brizzle get 94 and yet us only 90? seeing as we're one point behind them and have played the same games?

Win all 4 home games - 1 away (would be great if it is at Watford but more likely be at Coventry or Colchester) & Draw - so 18 points i think should be enough.
My ideal end to season; Watford - 1-1 Blackpool - 3-0 Sheff Wed - not sure about this one - would settle for draw. 1-1 Palarse - 2-0 Coventry - 1-1 Brizzle - 3-1 - could be the crucial one. Colchester - 3-1 Leicester 2-0
Be great if this happend to go undeafeated just not sure about Sheff Wed game.
Points Total - 84 points
Goarrnnn STOKE!!!

With WBA max 94, Brizzle max 91 and us and Watford max 90, and with some teams still to play each other and other ups and downs along the way, I reckon 85+ and you are deffo up and on 82-83 points you may still have a chance of second.

If we win every remaining game we go up automatically regardless of other results as lowest we could finish is second below Brazil. (Bristol and Watford then can only reach 88 and 87 respectively as we would have beaten them.)
The other interesting number is 82 points, which guarantees a play off place regardless of other results as 5 teams plus ourselves can reach this figure:
Team Max points
West Brom 94 Bristol City 91 Stoke 90 Watford 90 Hull 86 Wolverhampton 81 Charlton 80 Ipswich 80 Crystal Palace 80 Plymouth 79 Burnley 79

5 wins would defo do it imho, but we need 1 of them to be against Bristol or Watford.

The max points possible can't be achieved by all teams because we have to play each other. If west Brom win every game they will take 3 points off both Charlton and Watford. I think the 85 point mark is a good starting point to achieve automatic promotion. the way teams are dropping points this could well drop to about 82 points. the main thing for us to get automatic promotion is not to lose to Bristol and watford.
