I think Charlton's defeat tonight surely consigns them to the play offs this season. No way can they make up 10 points in 8 games on 4 other high-flying teams.
So I make it 2 from 4 now and a mathematical 50-50 chance of auto-promotion Next we need to see West Brazil lose a couple on the bounce

I wouldn't completely rule out Hull. In form and of they win there 2 games in hand there only 4 pts behind us

Sooner have the points on the board, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, as the saying goes.

Agree with Buxton - if Hull win tonight they are still in with a shout. Nice to be ruling out Charlton though ;D

Could do with Palace and Cardiff winning tonight. I still think that WBA FA Cup run will be there downfall, as the amount of games they have got in a short period of time will be too much.

I've been saying for weeks it'll be 2 of 4. Hull lack a cutting edge as do Charlton. I feel all 4 of us has a certain quality that leaps out and says PROMOTION.
You have resilience, determination and goals in your team. We have creativity, technical ability on the ball and a great team spirit. Brizzle seem to have a tremendous dressing room, and a real quality manager that's been there and done it (albeit at a lower level) Watford look like they have "Derby" qualities about them. Not the best footballing side by any stretch of the imagination but they grind out results.
It's going to be tight. 85 points could seal promotion. It's everybody's to lose.

There's a backhanded compliment in there somewhere!
I agree it is now 2 from 4, but as a Baggie I would be worried about the amount of games that will come thick and fast in the last few weeks of the season. You are 6 points behind the leaders, 5 behind second, with 3 games in hand, but they still have to be won.
If we get a win and draw from the games v Watford and Brizzle, I reckon we will do it. Second spot may be as low as 81/82 it seems.

2 from 4 now Hull have lost.
Watford's next 3 games are us and then trricky away games at Plymouth and Hull. They could be out of it after them
Brazil have 3 home games after Saturday, when they play Leicester, but have 6 away games with trips to Cardiff, Norwich, QPR, Wolves, Blackpool and Charlton. None fo those are easy places to go

I reckon if we only drop 6 points - i.e. finish with 84 points - that will be enough for automatic.
