Their current form is poor, and they are classic mid-table obscurity fodder - no chance of play-offs or relegation.
This is a good test for Stoke - if we want to stay in with automatic promotion hopes this is exactly the fixture where three points at this stage of the season is a requirement.
Winning it guarantees us nothing, but failing to take three points in this fixture probably spells the end of our automatic hopes.

flip side of that is, they aint going up or goin down so they have no worries and can just go out and play freely.

I don't think a defeat would cost us automatic at all, if bristol and watford drew we'd be on level points with Watford and if we beat them saturday we'd go 3 ahead of them, so lots of things can happen in these last 9 games, none of the top 4 will be out of it until the last game of the season

I agree that there is plenty of room for slip ups from everyone; but Watford are one point behind with a game in hand, and WBA are two behind with two in hand, and Bristol already have three points on us.
We have to, HAVE TO, make fixtures like this mean three points.

Im not so sure theyve nothing to play for,a few poor results and theyre well and truly in a relegation scrap.
