I think we need togive Burnley a bit more credit, they came with a game plan and it nearly worked. They made everything difficult for us. We looked like a team low on confidence and acking in ideas. I really think we missed Whelean yesterday. Sidibe was poor again and i don't think we can continue to carry the bloke, and his shambolic performances heap pressure on the rest of the team.
Nash - 6 - did he touch the ball?
Griffin - 4 - Had a shocker both defensively and going forward, seemed scared to cross the ball, at fault for the goal
Cort - 6 - looked solid at the back, didn't threaten going forward
Riggot - 7 - Steady Eddie at the back
Pugh - 6 - again seemed scared to cross the ball, steady game
Lawrence - 6 - poor game by his standards, decent penalty though, never went hiding
diao - 5 - poor again
delap - 6 - did enough without excelling, missed whelean.
Cresswell - 6 - poor, but never gave up looked dangerous when playing as a stiker
Sidibe - 3 - utter utter rubish, hard work is not enough! he is paid good money and is not good enough
Fuller - 5 - marked out of the game, when he got the ball was too selfish
Gallagher - 6 - failed to impact game when he came on
Parkin - 6 - same as above
Quite low ratings i know but i think it was more a case of Burnley making is look bad rather than us playing bad. The widg played its part and i think Burnley coped with it better than we did, We didn't create much and a draw was probably a faire result, we desperatley need another striker to take the pressure off fuller and give us a different option because at the moment we seem very predictable.
