I am sick and tired of seeing gutless defending when we should be aiming to keep a clean sheet and give our forwards a fighting chance of winning the game for us.
We all know Pugh is no left-back... never. And, quite frankly, Griff is not up to Wilko's or Dicko's standards, IMHO.
So, please listen Tony and get the two local hero's back in their proper place and let their gutsy heart-on-the-sleeve stuff shine. We desperately need them and I know they will not let us down!!!!!!

I do too .
But tone isnt going to drop griffin is he...
Pugh is a central midfield player, its plain to see, he should be back up for whelan and delap!

Dicko was not my favorite player early on in the season, thought he got 'conned' easily by quality wingers.
He has got much better and had a great game v Ipswich
out-and-out left back who deserves a run
Pugh-sending long balls to Fuller who can't win a ball in the air
Pugh is a good player, but not a back

I'd give Griff the fookin Water Bottle shift til the transfer window opens!!!!! Laughable in the Prem and simply out of his depth in the championship!!!! Wilko or Dicko for me, just fook Griffin off!!!!!!!!

Griffin did make a few silly errors but overall thought he played quite well today

If keep Griffin in the team then play him at left-back where he is more comfortable and played his best games for us and put Wilko at right-back?
Can't be that hard to see even through Pulis's tinted glasses that Pugh 'IS NOT A FUCKIN LEFT-BACK'...EVER! But we all know with Pulis 'HE HAS TO PLAY HIS FAVOURITES' even if it means they play anywhere but in natural positions ffs like Cresswell down the left but when asked play upfront for the last 20 mins he is basically running on empty because of his up and down defending and helping Pugh out in the left-back position which is just painfull to watch at times!
For me todays team should of read especially at home.
Simmo/Nash not fussed.
Griffin Ryan Riggott Dicko
Lawrence Delap Pugh Gallagher
Cressy Fuller
Subs. Hoult Sidibe Diao Cort Parkin
Instead we had that disjointed shambles.
I totally agree though with this thread that playing both Wilko and Dicko would be great to see as they are defenders FIRST which is critical when we are letting in goals galore.

For me, Wilkinson at Right Back with Griffin moved to left back, where he's strongest.
Is it just me that thinks Wilkinson is a clone of Dickinson but with better marking?

R u kiddin????????
He was shockin!!!
How many times did he lose the ball?
How many times did he pass the ball to a Stoke player!!
Contentious possibly but I think he is shot!!! Seriously devoid of any confidence with or without the ball
Lafferty was takin the pi55 out of him particularly in the first half and where was he when the goal came from his position???
Time to Go Time to Go F**k Off!!!

It really aint rocket science is it when the Sidibe tactic just aint working and the goals of late have dried up.
So change it and have options to change it again late in games with those options on the bench?

Isn't it amazing how good players become when they are not playing.

Isn't it amazing how good players become when they are not playing. Oh how true! .... hahahahaha I used to have a tea mug that said - the older I get, the better I used to be - given to me by a friend for my 40th. Thing is Sandford, all joking aside, many of the comments on this thread as well as others are patently true. It's only the manager who can't see it.

Isn't it amazing how good players become when they are not playing. Erm, Im pretty sure they were good when marking Duff and N'Zogbia out of the game? Im also pretty sure that if they were both 1 legged giraffes, they couldnt play any worse than Griff yesterday - and while we're at it Pugh IS NOT AND NEVER WILL BE A LEFT BACK FFS!Simo Wilko . Shawcross . Riggott . Dicko Lawrence . Whelan . Delap . Gally Fuller . Cresswell IMO thats our best team, the rest of em can fight for a place when injuries/suspentions arise
