I have been Pro-Pulis since about half way through last season and I'm confident he is the man to get us to the Premiership, but he got it wrong today, and because of this we only just nicked a point, which at home, isn't really good enough.
Firstly, he starts Diao, a player who is not match fit and in the last couple of games has been very poor. Yes, I agree he will get match fitness if he plays more games, but it is costing the team.
Danny Pugh should have been moved to the centre to play along side Delap, who is getting better and better each week. Griffin therefore should have been moved to left back, and Wilkinson should have come in at right back.
I also feel Mama has been poor of late, he doesn't seem to be contributing as much as he was earlier in the season and I think for the home games, he should be dropped, and Gallagher should start out on the left to give Cresswell ago upfront. Fuller and Cresswell may not work, but I can see that partnership giving us more goals at the moment.
Ok, so he started with Diao and Mama. We let in an early goal, and after 15 or so minutes it was clear it wasn't working. At half time we go in 1-0 down, and yet still no change. Pulis then brings Gally on in the last 20 minutes, but by then it's too late, if he had come on at half time we could have won the game.
I think this is the first time this season I have blamed Pulis for us not coming away with 3 points, but today he definetly got it wrong.
P.S I'm sorry if these views have been posted but I cba to read the whole messageboard.

stubborness, favouritism and square pegs in round holes are his achilles heel. As many are saying, Pugh isn't a left back, Griffin isn't a right back, cressell up front instead of mama, gally on from the start or much earlier, patterson or parkin/pericard????

"stubborness, favouritism and square pegs in round holes are his achilles heel."
trouble is Northwich, when you make those sort of comments on this board a lot of people automatically brand you a PHW.
Pulis is a decent manager, nothing more nothing less...
He needs to up the ante during these next few weeks to convince us he has got the ability to be a great one.

COMPLETELY 100% agree with you domsmith. I shouted from the Sentinel stand to try and tell him this at one point, much to the amusement of this ginger prick who sits in front of me

spot on.
im convinced the messiah will fuck this great chance of securing automatic promotion because of his 'dreamt up' team selections.
now it matters TP and to all those rimmers who have been saying 'Pulis has proved us wrong and i told you so'....well we shall see because NOW IT MATTERS!!! As he got it in him to change it for the good of the team after this blip of late and finally in his long drab career achieve something???

Everything you say is as clear as day to all but the fanatical Pulis worshippers.

don't like to go against TPs selections because of our lofty position
to me ,a ordinary fan ,his selections today seemed extremely questionable
won't go into detail as this has been covered well in other threads but some selections are downright annoying
seems a very stubborn person

Danny Pugh should not be in the side unless he plays centre midfield, its as simple as that. Gally should play every game, he makes a massive difference.
