Usually get to the match close to kick off when you can't always get a copy of the Oatcake outside the ground. Used to get a copy from shops in Stoke the day before matchday; two of these shops are now closed down and the other doesn't seem to sell any more. After the Ipswich match went to another shop in the West End and when I asked if they sell the Oatcake the asian shop assistant started looking next to the bread then said sorry they have all gone. Also have been buying copies from Shires News in Newcastle - went in tonight and was told that no copies have been delivered for some reason?? Anyway, its sometimes a chase round to get a copy. Is there a definitive list of shops that sell it and are Shires News still on the list? Cheers

They seem to have stopped selling Dave.
It used to sell about 3 months ago - don't know if its had new owners but it has had a bit of a shift round and never seems to have any when I go in (after the match).

The newsagents next to the HSBC bank in Stoke sells it. It's just down from Wetherspoons on the same side.
