Yet again proving what little he knows about the game!
Saying that Martin Taylor should be banned from Football after his 'attack' on Eduardo - Has he even seen it yet?
Yes, it was a bad tackle but it wasn't malicious and he didn't intend to break Eduardo's legs, it's just one of those things that happens!

This tit is also talking about life bans for players making bad tackles. What the hell does he call a bad tackle? He's already ruined the English game with his poof football. For God's dake, it's a game of physical contact. Players tackle, players get broken legs. Our own Rory Delap had a compound fractiure and there wasn't any contact by the Sunderland player. O.k. there are bad tackles, but it is a fast game, I've watched football for a good many years now, and seen some BAD, BAD,that were just that, BAD tackles, but I've ever seen a player set out to break a leg. Can you imagine how many players we'd have left in the game if clowns like D'Urso were handing in the deciding reports? Sepp Blatter...piss off!

Exactly lancer. would Griffin have been facing a life ban until it was overturned just cus he was sent off for serious foul play

Often you'll hear managers defend there players and say "he's not that sort of player" but it seems that Martin Taylor really isn't that sort of player and would not have done that purposely, Blatter as per usual is talking nonsense, you would have to be a complete sicko to do that on purpose and he's clearly not that sort of person.

And how the hell do they police it? All very well in the Prem with a tv camera in every corner to replay over and over again, but what happens when they dont have that option?
How about: Ref sends off for serious foul play, bloke banned for life, person in hospital but actually it wasnt a bad tackle - ref makes the mistake, players really end up paying for it
Ok - havent seen it on SSN and apologise if they went into any detail but it would be unlike either Blatter or SSN to do that

Isn't it about time Blatter choked on some Emmental or otherwise had what remains of his badly-wired brain shot out by a rogue clock-launched cuckoo?
Stupid fucking twatgasket.

Utter joke. Let's actually have 3 match bans for endeavouring to get opposition players booked or sent off. If a player dives, give them an automatic 1 match ban for every time they do it in a match. Clean up the game, give us some real heroes.

It was dead in front of me and it was rather nasty - it was a reckless challenge and you have to remember that when he made it, the ball had already gone out, as the challenge was right on the touchline.

Agree with MD over the diving issue. If so many fairies didn't try to fly without wings, the game would be much better and far more honest.
Too many players think they shouldn't be tackled either, arrogantly believing that if they lose the ball it MUST be a foul because they're too good to be actually played off it.

Blatter has also said this weekend that he doesn't want the top Scottish clubs to play in the Premier League - so he isn't wrong about everything!

Actually, yeah, how about doing something about the players who pick up the ball as soon as they go down? Straight yellow card, surely?

Sadly MD, there are far too many players who think they run the match, often encouraged to believe that by managers either just as arrogant themselves, (we can all name a few), or who are simply cheats - and we know who they are.
I think it should be compulsory for ALL professional players to have to pass the referees test before they can play.
Rule 1 - The referee is always right. It's been there since the rules were formed.

Lancer sorry mate but that tackle on Delap was a shocker and it was intended i have seen it many times and the only reason it was brushed under the carpet was that we had 2 Mackems on loan at the time that said Blatter talks utter wank.

I think anybody with a pair of eyes and a brain could see that the tackle by Taylor was unintended.
If they make a song and dance about this then it's gonna fuck the game up, players will fear for there own careers.
If this had taken place on a player from one of the lower divisions you wouldn't have heard anything about it. In fact if the shoe had been on the other foot, and it was Eduardo making that tackle on Taylor the issue would have most likely been brushed aside.
In a nut shell, Blatter is a bullshit muncher!
