www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_3249405,00.html COPY AND PASTE INTO BROWSER/SEARCH ENGINE Or Stoke confirm Nugent interestPotters keen on Pompey loan Stoke manager Tony Pulis has confirmed his interest in Portsmouth striker David Nugent. The 22-year-old was wanted by Championship side Ipswich on loan, but that deal failed to materialise. Now Stoke hope they can persuade the England international to move to The Britannia Stadium. "I don't know what's happened with Ipswich, but if we're going to do business then we'll do it with Portsmouth," Pulis told Radio Stoke. "If there's an area that we need another player it is up front. " I understand at the minute that he's not fit so we would have to wait for that to clear, but it's definitely something we're keeping an eye on Pompey paid £6million for Nugent last summer, but the former England Under 21 international has failed to make the expected impact at Fratton Park.

I have my fingers crossed as it would be a great signing but i cant really see it happening. Theres no way tone will leave out Fuller or Mama when fit and Nugent wont drop a division just to sit on the bench again

I think times running our for big mama - unless he starts getting more goals he will be out. Would be good to try him in midfield.

I've got a theory that he may be contemplating giving Fuller a rest and giving Nugent a run out, alternating the two. Certainly, if Fuller gets suspended then we'll see a Sidibe - Nugent partnership up front. I just can't see us playing without Sidibe, to be honest, which is a shame if Nugent does actually arrive on loan.
Who knows what goes on in TP's mind though?

Moorlander, did your shares in Eustace go up or down when he left for Watford? Made not one scrap of difference because as far as i'm aware Mary still shares his botty
