Saturday 30th March, 1968 My Sister and Brother - in - Law just gave me this programme for my 40th and I am absolutely chuffed to bits. Kick off was 3:15 pm and cost 9d. I was 26 days old. - Also amazingly there are some results on page 5 - Stoke 0 WBA 3... I swear to you its in print. Also I see that the media hasn't changed much. Stoke C - O Sheff Wed 1 After 24 hours of solid serious thought I can only come up with this description - without question was the worst match I have ever seen. FRANK CLOUGH (The Sun) Who scored the goal? Thank you Paul and Sue

These were good years for programmes. I am currently trying to log all my programmes from the 40's to present day. Its a lifelong ongoing project!
The particular season you've got there had these excellent Roy of the Rovers type covers.

Happy Birthday Sidders, you're 22 days older than me!
Off to France for my 40th to watch the France England game then the odd glass of vin rouge no doubt. Seems like a sensible way to see in the fifth decade!
