Was talking to a Villa fan at work today who told me there was some trouble in the ground at the Emirates on saturday because of the songs that the villa fans were singing about Eduardo. To the Vierra song "Eduardo ooohhh Eduardo ooohhh" he had some silky skills he walks like Heather Mills Eduardo oohh Eduardo ooohhh
also to the song "Whats that coming over the hill its a monster" They sung"Whats that coming out of his sock its his ankle" Thought our peado songs to Jones were bad but no wonder Arsenal fans reacted to these songs,Your thoughts.

I myself love a bit of banter. But that is a bit sick im my opinion. Someone's career threatened, and they are taking the piss. Disgrace.

I laughed quite a bit then actually, especially at the "what's the coming out of his sock". But then I felt pretty guilty.

Even more bizarre is the fact the injury was caused by a Birmingham player. Bit two faced by Villa fans don't you think?
There is no need for it. Support your team in my eyes. It's a bit like when we played Scunthorpe. We scored a goal and immediately- going down to the Vale etc. Why not a song for Lawrence?!
You should be ashamed of yourselves Villa supporters

My brother went to Birmingham vs Spurs at the weekend and all the Spurs fans were singing "There's only one Martin Taylor", until the whole stadium were singing it.
Don't know if the big fella heard it like, he was probably in a box somewhere in the ground.

At the end of the day,Eduardo isn't dead is he? I've heard a lot worse at football games, songs about Munich and Hillsborough where plenty died.

Talking of annoying chants, a major annoyance for me is when we are losing (for example heavily, yesterday at QPR) the crowd erupt into '3-0 and you still can't sing.' or 'you only sing when you are winning.' I'd rather be winning 3-0 and not singing that singing this bilge!

Calm down Rob, I think that's a fair enough chant to be honest.

Some of the crap Al Fayed has said in public have no sympathy.
My fave had to be at Hillsborough when Leslie Ash was doing a topless scene on BBC2- stoke fans were singing 'Leslie's getting her tits out' to lee Chapman. Sadly the ground was nearly empty.
The Eduardo one is funnyish but cruel also- wouldn't wish that on any player - The Tottenham chant just stupid

Fair play. It is very much a last gasp, clutching at straws attempt at a wind up, but there's nowt wrong with that in my book. Pisses me off when other teams sing it at us, so I assume it must be the same for them!
