I was a bit cheesed off about the quality of the officials yesterday so I moaned to them about it. I'm quite surprised how quickly they responded and credit to them for it. Dear Mr *****
We are in receipt your email expressing your view of officials perormance [sic] in the Queens Park Rangers v Stoke City match and will ensure that these are passed to the Professional Game Match Officials - the body responsible for the management and administration of match officials and the Referees' Manager.
The Manager will analyse the performances from the data available and discuss this with the officials. This data will include the match assessor's report (an assessor is present at every Football League match), the match video or DVD and, at some grounds, the Prozone statistics.
In the same way that a manager analyses his players' mistakes, and there are usually more of those than the referee, he also works with his officials in a bid to constantly improve standards in a game which has become faster and more frenetic over recent years. Every match is recorded and referees are under closer scrutiny than ever before.
Contrary to expectations, the Referees' Manager will not attempt to support a referee out of sheer loyalty. It is his responsibility through Professional Game Match Officials to identify training needs of not only individual referees but also of all National Group officials.
Referees who fail to achieve the expected standard have always been, and will continue to be, removed from the National List should their performances over the season not be up to the required standard.
Disciplinary matters fall under the jurisdiction of The Football Association, who are also a member of FIFA's International FA Board responsible for the Laws of the Game and they can be contacted via the Feedback Form on their website - www.TheFA.com.
Thank you for contacting The Football League.
It must be the standard template they use for Andy D'Urso

I'm not being funny, but it is EVERY time D'Urso referees Stoke.
I know it's a typical wanky fan thing to say, but i do genuinely believe he has got it in for us.

Well japseye you are the experts in such matters. When we belted you at home in December you cried that you were kicked off the pitch by Stoke's bruisers yet again, despite you having more players booked and conceding more fouls.
99.9% of fans and the manager have admitted that the decision had no bearing on the outcome of the game.
Imagine your mob, Mowbray and the retards in your local media having the decency to do that?

hey zippy! I had exactly the same e-mail this morning!! Its either a case of you being me or....perhaps slightly more likely its a standard merged response. Hmmm...wonder which one is more likely? It can't be the latter because the football league would never fob us off would they now ;-)

To add insult to injury the line that :
Contrary to expectations, the Referees' Manager will not attempt to support a referee out of sheer loyalty. It is his responsibility through Professional Game Match Officials to identify training needs of not only individual referees but also of all National Group officials.
Referees who fail to achieve the expected standard have always been, and will continue to be, removed from the National List should their performances over the season not be up to the required standard.
really is rubbish. We still have that idiot Hall refereeing. The idiot we had against Coventry a few years ago.

You dont see Albion fans kicking a fuss week in week out about refs even though there are occassions when they have cost us. Thats probably because of the national media wankfest over your allegedly superior approach to football. I'd imagine that officials are so mesmerised by all of your pin-point passing and off-the-ball movement that they feel dizzy and have to go for a lie down and a quick wank. Kevin Phillips - best player in the Championship????? He's not even the best player in the west-midlands. Complete farce.
